I pray the American Indian people will always flourish in this country. This country belongs to them and it would be only right if they were compensated for it's use. May The Creator bless America's first people and make sure they always exist in this land.

I wonder if it would even be possible to guess the pre-Columbian Native American population. The indigenous peoples started dying off almost immediately after the Europeans arrived. What was their birth rate before the white man came? What was their average life expectancy? What was the infant mortality rate? Is there any way to know any of these things?

Check out the Shelton House Museum in Waynesville NC. Just outside Cherokee. I was raised there for my fist five years. Father was the groundskeeper.
