I feel so bad for everyone, really. Hailey willingly let Jake into the Music Club and now feels as if she's been betrayed. Jake said he was only using the Music Club to get closer to Daisy as a cover up for his love for music. His friends pressured him into saying some nasty things about them, and got kicked from the club. Zander had a hard time trusting Jake due his parents' divorce (I think) and when he finally opened up to Jake, he was betrayed again. Leah just wanted Jake to notice her and let anger get the best of her. Everyone has gone through a lot, and I hope this gets resolved in the next episode.

As someone who fears letting someone down, I can imagine what Jake is feeling. It's really tough when u feel like you're alone and no one is willing to hear you out, what you feel, and your perspective. Still Jake gave lia a chance even after what she did even though he was frustrated himself.

jake's nightmare is my favourite part of the episode

This isn't really just a Gacha Series. The beginning of the episode shows how they call Jake and Hailey a freak, which leads to how people get bullied in real life. It's touching to see she's adding details of how people might get treated in school and how people will hate us, blackmail us, and not be friends with us anymore. I love that she adds that key detail though of Jake telling the person to stop bullying Hailey but he sees himself and is shocked, this shows how not only do we get bullied but sometimes we don't know what bad stuff were saying or thinking so we could be bullying others to as well without noticing. This episode shows reality, and Rosy you did a wonderful job with the animation :).

I felt Lia in this episode and i think she deserves another chance. Sure, she leaked the audio which caused jake to get kicked out of the club, but at least she was honest. She told him she let her anger get the best of her, her reasoning wasn't the best but she was still honest. She knew she messed up but she probably didn't know she'd mess up the whole thing for jake. She revealed the truth and that's what matters For drew, i feel bad for him too. Both of his 2 "friends" (henry and liam) knew zoey was cheating on him and was a golddigger but they didn't open their mouths bc they were scared zoey would make their lives miserable. Everyone knew about zoey and no one even told drew, they just stood quiet and let zoey spend all his money. And i believe drew was also loyal to her😔 One last thing, i hope zoey gets her karma

i like how there’s more depth into why Jake likes daisy, and not because she’s just cute. she was the one who saw his passion as something precious rather then something that’s shameful. edit: i love how he immediately assumes that the so called “girlfriend” was hailey, and was so excited to see her. it’s so cute😭💕

I cant believe this series has come as far as did. It’s really hard to believe that it was YEARS AGO that the series began. The evolution that it went through since then and the fandom it grew was unbelievable, and I can’t wait to see what the final chapter of this holds. Just 40 minutes to go, but I already know it’s gonna be amazing. Thank you RosyClozy for giving all of us this amazing series

this episode hit very close to heart, recently i've lost all my friends and i actually had to drop out of school- seeing jake also lose everybody made me feel as if i'm not so alone in my situation if you're reading this and you relate to jake, things will get better- you'll find people i promise take your time to recover you got this!

Despite being angry/upset towards Lia, Jake decided to listen to her unlike the music club. This shows how Jake is a great person and our simp deserves SO much better. ALSO he helped Milly with the diary issue, he basically made Lander happen and he even offered to give his laptop to Sean. He even ditched his friends because he wanted to hang out with the club at the mall. Milly said so herself: he knows that the music club is his real fam. Jake is an incredible friend and I wish the club could see that the recording was a set up..-😭 maybe thanks to zoey’s leak, the club could realize that Jake’s been tricked or something? I hope that Lia/ Drew does something to Zoey because of the recording, I mean that would be pretty cool to see.

I admire how much Rosy's animation has changed over the years. I've been watching her content pretty much ever since the music freaks came out, and I am extremely impressed about how much this has changed since 2 years ago. Keep up the good work Rosy

I like how Zoey doesn't really leak or spread anything unless provoked, she's like the mean girl that you can trust unless you get on her bad side

You know, I’m not in the Gacha fandom anymore but I hold a special place in my heart for Rosy. She’s been a major factor of excitement for the younger years of my life. Seeing these characters and reviewing them on my perspective. Looking back at those memories back when Gacha was in its prime time. So thank you Rosy. I can’t believe I’m seeing the last parts of this series.

It’s so cool how Lia decided to own up for her mistake and acknowledges that Jake might not want anything to do with her anymore

For some reason I really like Lia, her character is just well written in my perspective. The fact that she is aware that what she did was wrong and she was in the wrong to me, was good character writing. Music Freaks is one of the gacha club series I actually genuinely enjoy. Keep up the great work Rosy!

I just love how Daisy's Character has evolved so much. This episode has probably my favorite Daisy appearance. It reveals the reason she wanted Jake to go to the Music Club. It wasn't just to see him on Stage, It was her trying to take Jake to a place where he can be himself, Sing. The flashback is just adorable, Daisy was supporting Jake since around middle school. No wonder why Jake likes her so much. It honestly makes Jaisy more appealing. At the start of the series, Daisy was like this perfect character with no flaws on the surface. Future Episodes made her have much more depth to her. She is revealed to have a lot of stuff on her plate, and it stresses her out. She isn't the perfect girl that Episode 1 portrayed her as, because we didn't know much of her back then. This episode makes Daisy even better as I said, She had more of a reason then just wanting Jake to sing on stage. She wanted him to be somewhere, where he can be happy.

Daisy is precious, she’s a pure soul, but she needs to be protected at all times, she’s to sweet of a person to lose, cuz Daisy unlike other people actually wanted to hear Jake’s side of the story.

Well done Rosy, this episode definitely lived up to my expectations, tears, drama and anger, this was an amazing episode, you should be proud of yourself and I'm excited to see part II when it's released.

I feel like Sean, Lia, Daisy and maybe even Sadie are going to play a big role in helping Jake. Sean also knows Jake really cares, because of the laptop offer he made. He also seemed to want Daisy to help, as he told daisy what happened and daisy talked to jake after. And Sadie also seems deep down like an amazingly kind person and I think she would help Daisy if Daisy asked her too. And Lia already apologized to Jake and seems to want to reconnect and stop being a bully.

This is so upsetting. I hate the fact that the one time that Jake slipped up,they blamed him and wouldn’t even hear him out.

This is my last rewatch before the second part of the Finale, and it's amazing how far it's all come! The Story, the animation and all the characters. Growing up with this series while I was feeling low has brought me immense joy, as well as great inspiration! The Music Freaks holds a special place in my heart, and I can't wait to see how it all ends. Thank you, Mother Rosy, for all effort you put in to making this series 💙

This needs to be a fully animated Netflix series, I would watch it on repeat so many times.

Okay, I really liked the parallel shown in this episode comparing Jake and the Music Club vs Jake and Lia. Both were betrayed, although the Music Club would be "more betrayed" due to the close bond between the two parties, but Jake's life was also basically destroyed, which evens the two impacts of the betrayals. Jake is understanding and has a heartfelt conversation with her while the Music Club won't even interact with Jake. Maybe this was done for plot convenience but if it wasn't, it could be Jake not wanting to react like the Music Club did, because he could've easily slammed the door and gone back to his room to sulk endlessly. I feel like in the next episode, it'll be Jake and Lia working together, as they've both come to an understanding, with maybe Daisy joining in around a quarter through the video. I'd also love to see Drew confront his girlfriend about what Jake told him at the beginning, because that'd be interesting.

My heart was beating hard this whole 25 minutes. Jake's reaction to his "friends" was excactly what I wished for, seeing Jake finally be able to put fear into others' faces and defend himself. And I really loved the transition with young Jake and older Jake, that was so symbolic about real people with two faces. And even with such a dramatic episode, you managed to once again put humour there to keep the series as what it was from the start. Can't wait for next year!

I thought the dialouge between Lia and Jake was just so pleasing to watch, felt like a weight being lifted from the story. The voiceacting really shined there for me.

I can’t wait for the next episode! It's crazy that there's just about 40 minutes till this masterpiece of a series comes to an end. It’s hard to believe it been 2 years since the first episode was released. Time really flew by. I’ve been with this series since the beginning and I can’t wait to see the ending. I hope Jake can get his happy ending and get through all of this. I am really gonna miss the series when it’s over. Well done Rosy!

As someone who vastly outgrew gacha and the community, (and I’m so thankful I did), I don’t think I can just leave this series without watching the rest. Love what you do and how you separate yourself from the community while still making something amazing.

I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING. In the first episode Jake walks to the school entrance and we meet Drew, Henry and Liam for the first time and see their friendship with Jake. And in this episode their friendship ends right where we learned about it. Don’t know if this was on purpose, but it works gorgeously. Edit: Thanks for 60 likes! ❤️

If u listen carefully to Zander's voice there is less anger then there usually is and a tinge of sadness, especially when he says: "you got it?" Also the detail where a strand of Daisy's hair comes in front of her face and the captions Rosy spent 2 hours to write are amazing. I love the details!!

Honestly, Jake is a way better friend than all of them. Realize how Lia did something that hurt him yet he still gave her a chance to explain herself despite being mad. The music club didn’t do anything for him but he did everything for them and after he says that they automatically hate him. Yea it was wrong for him to say but they didn’t even try to let him speak and they’re getting on my nerves. I just want him to scream at them in the next episode or else.

The fact how the most replayed part is zoey crying

Honestly, the amount of emotion and effort that was put in Jake's VA throughout this episode is AMAZING. It literally feels like he was in the moment while in the fight with the jomies. And not even Jake, EVERYONE-Daisy, Drew, Zander, Luke, Liam and Henry, Zoey...hats off to ALL of the VAs

I had to distance myself away from everyone and everything I was working on just so I can get the chance to watch this cinematic masterpiece during the premiere. I couldn’t forget about how emotional that ending was in the previous episode. (Juffering for Jake, and even more in this one. He really deserves better. ) Besides that, the giant leap you’ve taken to make this part 1 of 2 finale from all the previous episodes is absolutely incredible, especially from a Moho user. At first, I thought this was done in Live2D because a lot of people in the Gacha community have used it and suggested it, but when I looked very closely at the edges of your rigs, they were noticeably smooth due to the use of vector graphics and antialiasing. Live2D had no feature like this, and it actually took me a good chunk of my year to realize that this was done in Moho. (I almost never go outside to touch grass and all my time is learning how to animate a Gacha character and sleep is almost a third of that.) You’ve inspired me the most and got me to where I am in the Gacha Community today. Consider this as a token of my gratitude. ✨

Although what Lia did was wrong, I'm glad she let out her feelings and apologized to Jake. I'm just happy that she was able to express her true feelings and talk about it to Jake. Her Character Development was really something I can't explain. Everybody sometimes always lets their anger get the best of them. But even so, I'm not saying what Lia did was right either. The next episode is gonna be rough. I really hated Zoey, and Part 2 is going to make me hate her even more. I've been following this series for a while now and I just can't believe it's coming to an end. The storyline, animation, voice acting, all of it is just so perfect. This is the best gacha series I've ever watched.

The moment of realization of improvement and the meaning of this series is immaculate to me. You've created a series that I watched with family and friends since the beginning. It grew into a beautiful flower with dewdrops of our tears and joy. Thank you for sharing your talents with us Rosy!

Idk if it's just me, but this would be so cool as a live action show. If you got a producer, I would watch it over and over! I understand that this is very special to you, and you send so much time to make sure every episode is perfect, and that's what we need in a show. I loved every second, and can't wait until part 2 !

I have left gacha a long time ago, but I have always checked once in a while to see if a new episode came. The characters are so well written. My favorite ones have always been Lia and Zander. Zoey is such a well written villain and makes everyone hate her. I love the series and I cant wait until part 2.

I literally screamed when I saw this updated. I feel so bad for Jake, I really hope it works out in the end and Jake doesn’t have to choice between his friends. I need Zoe was a mean, but I didn’t think she was THIS mean! I hope everything works out before the performance and Jake can have his moment to shine. Finally got to the end after deciding to rewatch the whole series. I don’t regret it, thank you rosy for this series. From all the fellow music freaks in this world

16:58 HE HAS SHOES ON WHILE IN HIS BED?? A CRIME. ARREST THIS MAN.

(double spaced the paragraph so it's easier to read) Jake is such a well written character Dude was bullied by kids all his life for something he liked. It got to the point of physical bullying in middle school. After middle school he decided to shut himself up and not talk to anyone, but still got picked on anyway. The scene in Ep. 9 when he gets flashbacks from seeing some of his bullies shows that he has trauma from them. After making friends with Drew he decided to be the guy that's super happy all the time and never gets mad. He pushes down any sad or angry emotions and follows through with whatever people tell him to do, making him easy to manipulate. That's another sign of trauma, from stopping singing because kids told him to. Drew and the others abused that, and manipulated him into saying everything in the audio so Zoey could record him and use it as blackmail to get him out of the club. He doesn't realize his mistake because he's used to it, and when Lia gets angry and sends the audio to the club, causing Jake to get kicked out, he breaks. He realizes he got manipulated, and then blames it on himself, thinking it was dumb, listening to his "friends" and ending up getting kicked out. In reality, it wasn't his fault. It was trauma and it being abused. Throughout the beginning of the series he bottles up all emotion and never gets mad. Near the end of the series some of that emotion can't be held, and Jake starts slowly cracking, releasing some of that emotion. At the end of episode 9 when the club finds out the audio and starts yelling at him, confronting him about it, he breaks and all of that emotion starts spilling out all at once. After that event, he starts falling into depression (he has multiple symptoms of it shown, such as having nightmares about the event, not getting enough sleep from overthinking, getting extremely angry a lot, not wanting to get out of bed, etc.) The club never lets him explain, no matter what, causing Jake to get even more depressed. He's no longer the "happy dude that never gets mad" now he's stuck trying to figure out what to do from here. I wonder what'll come next in ep 11

You know.. As much as I love this community I don't get why such a large portion of the fanbase dislikes the music club for not letting Jake explain himself and for not forgiving him right away. They let there literal bully into their friend group, that's a lot of undeserving understandmeng and forgiveness from people who were verbally assaulted by Jake and his friends for years. It sucks to see people get upset at the club because they litterally are trying to protect themselves emotionally. Remember guys they don't know the context of why Jake said what he said. They don't know he was peer pressured, and even if they did it doesn't change the fact that Jake said some really messed up things about the club. fellow fan I do understand the frustration on the misunderstanding, like I said before Jake was peer pressured and hurt, and as much as I sympathize with Jake he did done goof.

I really like Jake’s character, he admitted to his faults and acknowledges that it’s his own fault and he didn’t blame it on his ‘friends’.

This is a perfect example of how life can be difficult, by just the smallest things we do, because they could be a lot more meaningful to others. Something as small is just disliking somebody, or a group of people, just because they are different from others. Well 1, they are probably judged for being themselves in public, and 2, those affects can lead to stuff such as stress, anxiety, loss of most hope, and mainly, wishing you could forget about the mistakes. Just a thought 😀❤️

I have a theory. Jake will expose Zoey in part 2, because at the end of this part she exposed Jake, so Jake might want some revenge, and he'll get the help of Lia, because she might want to redeem herself and might want to break free from Zoey, and since she is the closest to Zoey, she might have some texts, recordings, pictures and/or videos of Zoey with/talking about her other 'boyfriends'.

I’m a lot later than I wanted to be but: This is so beautifully written. It really showcases the way different people react to hurt and betrayal. Jake is the type to take it out on himself. He’ll get angry and lash out, but then have enough self awareness to scold himself for it later. Zoey, while her actions are in no ways condonable, was also acting from a place of hurt. We don’t know her story, nor why she was cheating on Drew. She’s in the wrong, but she’s obviously the type to attack when she’s hurting. Leah is definitely the most mature amongst them. She screwed up, and she knows it. So she swallows her pride and confronts the person she knows will be angriest at her. She chose the hard way. The way that would force her to face her mistakes. Then you’ve got the Music Club, who are dealing with everything through avoidance. Not always the best method, but they’re seeking to take care of themselves and each other first. I think its really nice that none of these ways of coping with hurt as necessarily displayed as “wrong” or “toxic” just… realistic. So bravo!
