I think when You first come on the scene Mazzy, everyone was pretty much in awe of your music room and collection. I modeled My Music Room partly on your Music Rooms. Bravo Mazzy!!!
I love the whole room, Mazzy! I have a small 3rd bedroom turned vinyl lounge for just my vinyl, turntable & speakers. When we're retired and move, I hope to have a bigger music room. I'm into vinyl & CDs (& still have my cassettes). Hubby collects CDs. I've been collecting vinyl off & on since age 5, starting with The Beatles "I Wanna Hold Your Hand"/"I Saw Her Standing There".
Great looking music room nice place to relax and listen to some good music!! Nice amps guitars and like the way you filmed in black and white video looks more arty....this fits the mood! Great video enjoyed it!
Thanks for opening the door to Mazzys' inner sanctum! Not a single piece out of place ... stunning, beatiful, impeccable! The artsy/fartsy B/W treatment makes it just perfect! Must be quite a shock when you exit the room and your world suddenly is back in color! Hope your cleaning lady charges museum-grade rates 🤪
Great piece Mazzy. Shows how much you love and take care of your stuff. It's another reminder to me of what a fool I was to get rid of my albums when CDs took over. How I wish I had them to play on the kit I have now. A huge regret.
Very cool, lots of cool stuff. I regret getting rid of my LP’s so much. When my X and I split up the first thing I moved into my 2nd floor apt. Was all my records, stereo equipment and guitars. Tooting all those records up 2 flights of stairs and CD’s were just coming into the major market. I slowly sold or gave away most of theme. Big mistake! I’m retired now and have limited space in my old 1000 sq. Ft. English style cottage. You seem to have nice space for your entire collection.
Hey Mazzy, just want to let you know some fantastic news, the WFMU record fare is going to take place in Manhattan in the Chelsea area on 17th street at metropolitan pavilion. This is where it originally was for many years. It’s very convenient, it’s between 6th and 7th ave. Lots places to eat and many near by subways. I hope you can make it, I will definitely be there. ✌️
Beautiful lower level room. Your collection of physical media is quite impressive especially the vinyl upstairs. I have a similar set up (but smaller) in my townhouse however I worry about my vinyl upstairs and the weight it puts on my floors. An engineer looked at my set up and suggested not going too high with my kallax shelving 3 high maximum(at least 150 lbs for 3 filled cubes holding =70 records each) I did spread them out into 2 rooms upstairs and put my least valuable records in the basement . However, I would have preferred to set up my records in one main room like you did so tastefully. Do you have any of my concerns ? PS I am a big time Beatles Dylan and Stones collector and lover of music as are you. Please keep doing the videos . I am always entertained and learn a lot.
Fantastic footage, Mazzy! Say, you've not performed Whack A(B)"CD"Mole. lately. Would love to see you dip into those sexy, stylish draws of yours. Try not to pull out any Neil Young, though, 🎩(tip hat) PS Would love to see you do a video, live from your patio/balcony
Very nice room Mazzy! The kodachrome reminded me of a great Vancouver BC photographer that did a fantastic job of capturing the city and all it's flavours back in the day. His name is Fred Herzog. Do you have any Mike Bloomfield stories? Did you have the pleasure of seeing him in San Francisco? Cheers! ❤
@@mazzysmusic Mazzy it was meant as a compliment in know way did I mean you arrived at your current place through luck I appreciate you have worked hard for what you’ve achieved! I admire your set up 👏
Starting off with Ave Maria I thought this was going to be a 40 minute video of an old dude with dementia. Nope, just an old dude. 😉 (Just teasing…great video Mazzy!)
Nice room! But my question is why do u need all that stuff? How does it make u feel? I respect your vast music knowledge, but what's the purpose of the cds and albums to what end? Minimalism is not ur religion...Peace
