I never comment on anything, I can't be bothered with it... But this song... I don't know what it means, or what it represents, other than just them not giving a shit (as he says) and just thrashing something harmonic out... and I don't know why...... but I absolutely love it.

Yeah man, that is the reason the band was infamous, cos other rock bands were shitting on themselves. I wish they get back together and breakthrough... all the music on the market today is crap!!! I listen The Music everyday when i go to work and back.

I'm gutted that they gave the filming production to such a shoddy company. Was well disappointed with the sound, picture quality and lack of widescreen.
+John Sutcliffe Sorry but you say astonishingly amazing band....but they have a poor name...give me a break you clearly don't understand the machinations of the music industry if you think names matter. The problem is the larger populous don't have any taste in "music". The measure of success isn't album sales but how much a quality audience appreciates such talent and these guys have it in spades!!!
+69stus I was pretty drunk when i wrote that, and I actually like their band name,and I guess ishould have explained what i meant . I don't think it was a great name for helping them to become more successful. I wonder if maybe they may have carried on longer if they had made more money. I personally didn't want them to stop as they're one of my fave bands of all time. . Maybe someone hears a song of theirs on the radio and only catches their name.Type in "The Music" into you tube search box and none of their songs appear. I don't think this band name will have helped them gain more fans. It's just an opinion, sorry if this upset you. And I am aware that this bands or any other bands record sales will never ruin their legacy if they happen to be as good as these guys.
No worries son what we both agree on is their talent has not been appreciated by the masses. It could be in the marketing, but i suspect not in the name but more in driving global awareness of who they are? I think i read a review in The Times on Welcome to the North, beyond that can't recall any other prompts...one of my favourite bands of all time too!
