"The Musician" - A short documentary

This was meant to be part of a series of short documentaries for a company that wanted to promote Amsterdam as a holiday destination. Unfortunately it never went through.
I was chosen to be the musical co-ordinator and performer.
Austin Reza joined me in my daily routine as a performing musician in Amsterdam's music-scene.

Great documentary! I’m an aspiring filmmaker myself and a musician. And I’ve been looking for some inspiration to make my own documentary about a close friend to mine who is an incredibly talented musician. Thank you for the inspiration

Beautiful video... nice one! :) It's great that you are chasing your dream and making it come true! Makes me want to leave everything again and move to the city to meet musicians! I'm a musician too... moved from Tenerife, where I grew up, to Bristol, in 1999, also chasing my dream of playing in bands, recordings, festivals etc... did it for 15 years, had an amazing experience, and now I'm back in Tenerife... still making music, small little restaurant gigs and studio work, but still making music... oh man, this video made me nostalgic... I miss those small viby city clubs! If you ever come on holidays to Tenerife please get in touch! :)

@@ChrisDeJuanMusic :-) Yes, I came here in the end of 2019 after finally taking my gut-feel serious and did it! I felt already for a long time, that this is the place for me and so far i have been feeling really good about it, although I came here just before the pandemic. However I did enjoy the time to slow down, and reflect and sort priorities, that helped me orientate again! its all process and growth :) Thank you and hopefully we bump into each other one day!

Hey, mein Bruder Ingolstadts ;-) Auch wenn es schade ist, dass das Werk nicht seiner geplanten Verwendung zugeführt wurde, muss ich Dir zu diesem schönen Film gratulieren! Und natürlich zu Deinem künstlerischen Weg. Respekt. sehr cool. Sollte auf jeden Fall im Ingolstädter TV ausgestrahlt werden ...mit Untertitel oder nochmal auf Deutsch nachsynchronisiert halt.
