LOL just popped up in my feed. Its also a great way to tell everyone you NEVER take your sled off road, as even the stock fender means your back is caked in a lb of mud. I went the opposite direction, put the fender of the Scrambler Classic on my sled. Doesnt stop all of the mud but is a hell of a lot better.
Why is everyone hate the stock tail? I actually installed the stock tail back from an Evotech tail tidy kit after I brought the bike used, if you actually take the desert sled off road, you would likely want to add a longer fender
Nice! I have the same bike (mine is a 2020) and I bought the same NRC eliminator kit. I have not put it on yet but I will. Now that I’ve watched your video, piece of cake! Thanks! When I disassemble to instal the kit, I will then take both fenders and gas tank to get vinyl wrapped. Thinking of black, not sure or the color yet but that’s my plan. Thanks again for your video!
Wow nice work! Thanks for sharing. A PITA to do but looks great and well worth the effort! One thing, you may have problems getting an inspection sticker from your dealership with this mod. Go to a local gas station - the dumbasses there (LOL) usually don't know any better and will pass the inspection.
In my country that is illegal. The Police will consider the license plate as "hidden", consequentely some thing unpleasant for the wallet will be happening 🤣🤣. It looks nice anyway. Ah by the way, Italy here. Cheers 😘
Hi great video my friend... just a few questions please I'm thinking of getting one of these bikes but I was wondering are the service costs alot on this type of bike I read somewhere that there's and big service on these bikes at about 15,000 miles values and belts have to be done and that it costs alot of money something like £900 to £1000 for service.. Is it the same in the USA... And would you say this type of bike is more suitable for a young person as I'm over 45...cheers✌🏍....😎
So far I have only had the first service done (at 600 miles) and It was about 300 dollars all in. I made a video where I talked about it a bit. I'm sure the other services are expensive as well, it is a Ducati after all. I think its a great bike for all ages! It is a very comfortable bike with a great riding position if you're a little older, but don't want a cruiser. But its also fun to hooligan around on as well (which can be done at all ages haha!!)
I’m 49 and I just picked one up, I took it off-road for the first time the other day, and it handled amazing. I lived in Asheville NC, so there are service/gravel roads everywhere, and I love the fact this bike can take me everywhere I wanted to go even when the asphalt road stops
Does anything hit ??? If you jump the bike and under full compression does it hit? I plan to offroad my sled, jump it and I don't want to put something on my bike that may not hold up well.
I haven't done any serious jumping. But in my opinion it is very sturdy and attaches using the same factory attach points and basically the same hardware. There is nothing that could hit the tire or anything. I would imagine the stock license holder would be at a great risk of that than the NRC
I can tell you that the stock set up gets caught on vines and the plastic license plate bracket breaks. This kit would eliminate that issue. It's the first mod I plan on doing to my 2021 but I am gonna make a handful of those monthly payments first.
Is this worth the $185 listed on revzilla? I have the evotech fender eliminator but that causes the license plate to scrape the rear wheel, been looking for a new one
I give you that, it is expensive for sure. But there is really only it and the evotech one on the market. I think this one is much better than the evotech one. The license plate position looks way better, and the stock turn signals go away. For me the evotech really just "shortens" the stock fender. The NRC one actually eliminates it completely. But as for is it worth it financially, thats up to you. especially since you have already purchased the evotech one.
I am 6' 1" or about 185cm . I can barely flat foot. at 170cm, you are definitely only going to be able to get one foot on the ground. It's tall for sure
