This is all distorted history. The area in question was the Saxony area in Germany. The Prussians King had trouble with the Saxon's rebellion which had already killed nearly 100,00 of his army. These people were formidable and always send at least two survivors back to the king and told the king to send more it was fun. The Hungarian King at that time, 800 years ago asked for help from the Prussians king to defeat the Hunns and the tartar which had invaded his country in repeated raids. That is when the Prussian King used a messenger that secretly told the young Saxon that they follow him with all their belongings to the Hungarian kings land to receive as much land as they are able to clear as much land for them self's as they could. They would be rewarded that way for driving the Tartars, the Hunns and other invaders from his land. All most all the young families lest in the middle of the night and just vanished.
