“O Little Town of Bethlehem” is a beloved Christmas carol. The description as “little” seems apt, as even the Prophet referred to it as the “least among the clans of Judah” (Mic 5:1 tlv). What we discover upon closer examination, however, is that this small village is overflowing with significance. Its very name speaks to the human soul’s deepest needs. It brings a sense of calling and possibility to us as we approach the holiday season.

Just a quick comment. In a Jewish wedding tradition the bride's father ask for a dowry, or a price to be paid before his daughter can be married. Jesus Christ paid this also. He alone paid the dowry the Father ask for, then once it was paid a glass of wine is offered to the bride. If she accepts this cup she is promise to be married to this man as she awaits for her husband to come and take her to be with him as his wife. This is a perfect picture of Jesus Christ coming back to gather His Bride unto Himself to be with Him forever at the time of the Rapture of the Church. AMEN!!

Thanks for doing these! I love learning more about the Bible and Jesus/Yesua. I am not Jewish, but finding this very interesting to learn the depth in the Hebrew and Greek. And I would love to go to Israel someday!

I learned St Lukes Gospel very much as child in Ireland I'm now 74 years old. Yes we learned that the name Bethlehem means House of Bread. Yes we learned the Lamb had to be perfect and without spot or wrinkle that prayer is said in the Latin Roman Rite Church.

I really appreciate the message on forgiveness, at 73 I am still angry with my father abusing my mother and family. I have no right not to forgive, it just taking a lot of time. Most of us would like to go to Israel but I would rather use my resources to get out the gospel and help the less fortunate.

Thank you for doing this. I have been searching for a deeper revelation of the Word. I find that both you and Jonathan Cahn are pouring Living Water into my dry and thirsty soul. I am being refreshed by your teachings and Yeshua is coming into a greater focus than ever before. I am amazed at how the fingerprints of God are all over scripture! (ie - Yeshua being Bread and the very "Bread" is born in Bethlehem - meaning "The House of Bread". Who knew! Please explain the place of Yeshua's birth, where He was laid, the swaddling cloths, the spices given by the Magi, etc. I am truly fascinated at how God's fingerprints are all over this!!! From Gen 1 to the last chapter in Rev. God has woven a scarlet thread throughout Scripture and I am just discovering it. THANK YOU!

Appreciate the message of forgiveness. I feel like I understand my husband's hesitation to becoming a believer has to do with forgiveness. His father committed suicide when he was in middle school and I think there's some source of anger and unforgiveness because his childhood was idealic before his death and after his death my husband's life changed dramatically. His mom remarried but it's like she moved on with his stepdad and had more children but he was sort of pushed out. If you can pray for him to forgive what happened and so it's no longer a heavy burden to carry.

I learned this at school in Ireland when I was a kid I'm now 74 years old. Yes the Roman Catholic Church taught this St Luke's Gospel Virgin Mary is to be honoured we are told and St John's Gospel were very much taught in Latin Roman Rite Church. Yes Bethlehem means House of Bread.

70 times 7 is an elusion to Daniel 9: 24, which states, “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”. It is an elusion that true forgiveness is the Messianic forgiveness, and our acceptance and obedience to Him, the Lord, our Living God.

Hi According to John’s Gospel the Last Supper was the night BEFORE the Passover Seder on Nisan 14, because in Yeshua’s trial Pontius Pilate had to go outside his court gate to confer with the Pharisees as they COULD NOT DEFILE THEMSELVES BY GOING INTO A GENTILE BUILDING as it would have disqualified them from having the Passover THAT NIGHT! Shalom to us only in Christ Yeshua returning soon to reign over the world government from Jerusalem.

I believe in forgiveness, but I don’t believe in forgiveness without repentance. Many churches of today say forgive without repentance! Why does churches teach this, when Jesus don’t?

The christians are going to Heaventhe 7 yr bridal feast while what happens to Yisrael - wee go, according to my Rabbi, into the world to come. I met up with my second third cousin larry - little larry, and he had a copy of a very well read book in his hands, carrying it; the book is called: New Heavens. New Earth. Thats how we get there. Yeah but he still thinks his bible was first written into Greek from Paul peter but it wasn't thats what Constantine did he got the gospels that was written in Hebrew Not Greek And it's not Jesus Christ its Yesuah Hamachiach. See the whole church could fall if we don't move quick to change this. 😮
