I’ve seen a lot of covers of this song and none have done it Justice like this one. The Screamers projected such an energy that in my opinion cannot be matched and the sounds that the 4 of them created were so phenomenal for the time that they came out. This version though I have to say does capture a lot of that character and that makes me really happy. It wasn’t done for me but I thank them for taking the time to do a version that is very good. I’ve heard some very VERY bad and lack luster versions over the years.

Super corny compared to the original. Sounds like Scooby Doo chase music. Tomata du Plenty made you BELIEVE he was dangerous, dammit

Could you look at it as a tribute rather than a rip-off? I think Mystery Lights treat other artists' songs with respect when they do covers. Maybe they will bring new fans to the Screamers, and that's not a bad thing.
