Have you ever imagined living to be 120 years old or reaching 40 while looking like a teenager? And still, reaching 80 years old and looking like you're 40? In this video, I'll talk about the mystery of the Hunza people in Pakistan.
And work the land! Gardening is great exercise, another vital component of good health and longevity. They probably do not do big pharma drugs and use western medicine, either. Traditional healing modalities and herbs are part of my reason for still being alive despite many deadly and incurable diseases. Big pharma drugs would kill me.
200 years ago most people in the world lived the same way but longevity was not common. They actually lived fewer years even with clean air healthy unprocessed food no big pharma and lots of agriculture and gardening. These factors are irrelevant.
Makes you wonder who got it right. We look at them as the primitives. Can you imagine growing up in their world? At my advanced age in the US, I would be a young woman in their culture. No cars. No freeways. No dashing here and there all day, spendings and hours spending money all day long. Again, makes you wonder who got it right.
Lack of industrial agriculture, energised water, clean air, movement and good family and community structure. A strong, diverse microbiohome in the soil and gut. A happy demeanor also goes a long way.
@@janvanaardt3773 I don't think it's just genetics. Their life span is already decreasing. My great grand parents lived into their 90s and my dad made it just past 60. Every generation seems to die younger and younger and sicker too. The diversity of the gut microbiohome is also passed through generations if the diet changes and microbe diversity decreases and lost it does not come back when those foods are reintroduced.
My Fathers Grandmother was 130 years old when she passed away. Not sure what tribe she was from but only her youngest son & one daughter outlived her by a couple of years. She did all her own cooking, cleaning & hygienic care up until she passed.

@BlackLung911 Question: did your great-grandmother have a BIRTH CERTIFICATE? I ask this question because studies done WORLDWIDE on people who CLAIMED/CLAIM extreme old age almost always have proven to have ZERO authentication of their actual age. Among peoples worldwide, claims of extreme longevity and geriatric birthing were common UNTIL the western practice of issuing authentication of birth (AKA birth certificates) became the common, legally required practice. Native Americans PRIOR to the US government's intervention commonly claimed extreme longevity among its members, regardless of whatever tribe those individuals belonged to. HOWEVER, after the US government began segregating, moderating and requiring many tribes to legally record the birth of every indigenous child, claims of extreme longevity and geriatric birthing all but STOPPED in the generations that followed. If your father is still alive, ask him if his grandmother had a birth certificate. My father was part Native American, and like so many from his generation (he was born in 1915) he lacked a birth certificate; his birth being recorded at a mission located in Ventura County, California. After he applied for a job with Ventura County, the job application required him to provide his employer with a legal birth certificate. After much effort on his part, my father was finally able to have one slapped together from what records he was able to obtain from the church. Supposedly he was around 93 years of age when he died, and all his life he looked and functioned at a fraction of his alleged chronological age, something that none of his children have been able to achieve.
There are several longevity hotspots around the world and some of the others include the Italian island of Sardinia, some Greek islands and the champion! The southern Japanese island of Okinawa. Common factors seem to be genetics, relaxed life style free of stress, healthy food with lots of fruits and vegetables and old people being valued in a caring community.
The Japanese. The Government wanted to do some DNA ageing research. They discovered granny in the deep freeze and the kids claiming the pension. Good idea really. Got mine ready I've told me mum it's for ice cubes. "But why is it so big she said" Regards
Heard about them? I've written an entire chapter in my book about them - due for publishing release within the next 6 -10 months. These are the Macedonian descendants since the time of Alexander The Great. Battle worn soldiers either too old or too injured to continue on the campaign settled the region over 2,000 years ago. They do not look Indian, Pakistani or Asian, as they are Macedonians and that is why the vast majority of them (and that of the Kalash who are the same) have blonde hair and blue or green eyes unlike any other inhabitants of the area. The King, Queen, their son the Prince and his fiancé the soon to be princess visited Macedonia in 2008 and paraphrasing said "We are home now, the ancestors of our ancestors we are the same people" Macedonian, not Greek.
Very interesting. I am fighting for years the fools who think Macedonians were/are Greek!! Nowhere in the antiquity books is mentioned of Macedonians being Greek. My pen Name is Raven Alb j and if you write my name on Google you will see the books I wrote.
Please stop the nonsense the propaganda and the distortion of historical facts. Do you know Aristotle ? The famous GREEK philosopher. I am sure you do. Well what HE WAS FROM MACEDONIA from a place called Stageira near the town where Alexander also lived. Macedonians were and are GREEKS from a region in northern Greece. Just like Spartans were also greek from another region in Greece to the south the Peloponnese. The rest of your claims about the Kalash people and their connection to Alexander's army are true. They are descenfants of ancient greeks. Modern day citizens of the Former Yugo SLAV region now called northern Macedonians have nothing to do with ancient Macedonians who were greek. The inhabitants of FYROM are SLAVS and speak Bulgarian. They are just usurping greek history because they have none of their own.
@@SimonTAMG Quite the contrary. I am 70yrs old and a university professor. I believe I know more than enough. But you definitely need to open proper history books if you are undet the delusion that macedonians had anything to do with slavs from VARDARSKA (the real name of the region that is now trying to usurp the name and history of the GREEK Macedonians). Macedonians are greeks and have always been greek until 30 years ago when the lies and propaganda from FYROM started. Tell me do you even know what the word Macedonia means ? It is a word of GREEK origin which refers to the land of tall people
This is fascinating, but why the floating orange orbs? More and more channels are doing this, but why? This technique doesn't add to the video or the story at all. In fact, it's quite distracting.
@Brett.Crealy-kh1sk So far, the two people in my family who have lived the longest are my late mother's two sisters. One died at 94 and the other is still going strong at 92. Both enjoy/enjoyed perfect hearing and razor-sharp memory/cognitive ability. They grew up extremely poor and their diet growing up was almost nothing but beans. Since reaching their adulthood, both have a sweet tooth and eat pretty much anything they want to eat. In contrast, my sister at 76 looks and sounds like she is MANY years older than her actual age, and she was the only one in my family who had an interest in "healthy" eating.
Here's a clue: most of the wolrd lived like that until about 120 years ago, when the average life expectancy was 37 years old or thereabouts---and that was in Europe. EXPLAIN.
In Finland we had very special and appropriated doctor Arvo Ylppö, his speciality were children. All of us Finnish people loved him. I was with my mother at his 100 years celebration. We did not know him personally, people bought tickets to that celebration and now afterwords I am sure that the money went to childrens hospital or something like that. That time I did not think about the whole thing, I was much younger.
yes i am from gilgit and my neighbor was 130 yrs old she died last year. i told many people about it on ig and literally not a single soul believed in it. And the amazing thing was she was totally fine till her death and she would also keep fasts and offer prayer.
Wehen I was a child, we always dried it, broke and eat it. I loved it! I stopped to do it though. But my mom didn't and she 72 looks like 50. So after watching this made me think to start eating it again. I'm from Hungary.
I went there years ago as a kid. The water in the valley is extra special, it is so highly mineralized it has a silver-grey colour yet tastes extremely pure. That and the dried apricots which are everywhere drying on roofs.
Statements about the supposed longevity of different peoples always turn out to be false when researched. The greatest fully authenticated age to which any human has ever lived is 122 years 164 days by Jeanne Louise Calment (France). The Georgians were also supposed to be long-lived, but when examined, it turned out to be false. They asked them questions like, who was the first President you remember when you were a child? They were about 5 to 10 when that person was President. One researcher put the life expectancy of the Hunza at 52 for women and 53 for men, but with a high margin of error because of lack of records. I worked as a doctor in Saudi Arabia around 2000 and asked every patient how old he was. Often, for elderly people, the answer would be 116 years, 124 years, etc. Of course, there was no birth register. All these longevity claims come from places where record keeping is poor or non-existent.
@@haelleah369livelovelaugh It boils down to this: claims of exceptional longevity come from people without birth certificates in backward communities. When scrutinised, these claims always turn out to be false. What's wrong with you? Do you believe unsubstantiated claims?

I do hope that they are left in peace, that no party arrive to study their life style and bring germs and other ideas. From the comments here these people lead a life without all our trash and their diet is exceptional, very cold bathing is known to help the immune system. Then they have very restricted diet at the end of winter/ spring..Don't know if l could do that. Bless them all.
🗣. 📢Thank you for teaching and sharing this information 🗣. 📢when I was attending fashion institute of technology I found a book on them and I read it And was overly impressed with them
Diet alone it won't cut it, that people have zero stress, they aren't worry about the wealth job, or anything going on in the world, they care less what hell going on in the world
My family is long lived as well - I think I understand the correlation. We crunched on apple seeds. Same amygdalin. 👈👀 Now there's a rabbit hole for ya.
Hi I thank you, I sorry to say I don't know any lit that, only someone in mid 80s and one person who is 95. I will look into these people a little more, to live to 140 plus I would be very happy.
I bought Crystal Energy drops from an inventer who claimed their longevity came from the hydrogenated water.....about 30 years ago. Seemed to work from memory. Who knows?
I grew up eating apricot seeds in Moldova, but here in US, I can't even find an apricot tree to plant! That alone should tell you how beneficial apricots and their seeds are! (I am almost 45 and am now seeing (physically) the benefits of my diet and environment of my childhood...it all makes a huge difference) Thank you for creating this video! May He bountifuly bless you!!!
@liracopeland8764 Are you joking? What state in the USA do you live in where you cannot locate an apricot tree to plant? I've traveled all over the USA, and not one state I've been to didn't sell apricot trees. Come to the Central Valley of California (where I live). They are readily available everywhere here.
@@shirleypena4133 virginia You're not going to find them in Lowes or Homedepot they way you would apple (a few years ago, you could, but not any more) You have to visit local nurseries - often, to make sure you don't miss that one small shipment. (We now have land and I want them everywhere:) ...I know, Cali is not like that, neither was UT, nor CO (at least not 20 yrs ago), but in VA things changed, even though climate is perfect here for them!!! Possibly a gene. I've looked 20 to 25 years younger and have one person in each generation that gene is passed on to. Also my muscles and skin are younger.
To all who are seeing this ...the structure of water in Hunza is different ......there are 5 places in the world where people live the longest.......its not what we are eating but what we r drinking
I use double distilled water and vortex it in reverse using a magnetic stirrer. I believe I'm making structured water or ez water aka exclusion zone water.
A lot of these people don't know what year they were born in so I think all this should be taken with the usual pinch of salt, and dried apricots of course.
Well the oldest person I think I ever met was one of my neighbors who lived to be like a 101 or 102 but he passed about a year ago, but I was at my family's cemetery a few months ago, and me and my dad was cleaning off my grandparents' grave, and we happen to see a family member headstone, we saw something we almost couldn't believe, and that was the date of when this guy was born and when he passed, this guy was born around the mid to late 1800s and died in the early 2000s .
Correct @dmu Remember they are not exposed to pollution , insecticides,,viruses from world travelers ,,,,, not much inter mixing either the outside of their world And they eat and drink food and water that are pure !, No man made artificial comicals, around them In other words they live very much Isolated from the word at large, We need our vaccinations !just my thinking 🤔
Over 50 years ago I read about a couple in the Caucasus mountains; he was 121 and his wife 120. They ate mainly mutton and mare’s milk (literally quoted from the article) and lived very simply. Both were completely fit and active. There is definitely something about high elevations and uncomplicated living that promotes longevity. But saying uncomplicated may mask the reality - I’m sure life could get very complicated in such regions during winter and these people had to be highly adept at managing life in what can be a very harsh environment. There’s also a lot to be said for eating sparingly and of primary foods. Maybe such adverse climates tend to favour suitable genetics and enhance the necessary characteristics? Whereas such deprivation generally shortens life elsewhere in more populous regions experiencing adversity. Or it could just be that the information shows survivor bias and may be somewhat inaccurate due to lack of formal record keeping?
And also if you check the generation line that comes after them children, grandchildren, greatgrand, greatgreat grand, great great great grand, great great great greatgrand, five greats and so on.
Your videos have fabulous art and photography. In this one, I expected you to mention the unique gut biome of the Hunzas. They eat their own unique strains of homemade yogurt not found elsewhere. L-reuteri and other strains are known for imparting youthful skin and good intestinal health. And like someone else said, they don't run to the "doctor" for everything, and have their own herbal solutions to health issues.
no chemical foods no developed world stress and pollution... connected to earth...higher evevation maybe....this is what the world could have been for all......strength simplicity longivity wow....how stunning is this existances upon this world
Humza claim they are descendants of the Alexander the great of Makedon 's soldiers, who injured , couldn't make back to Makedonia , when Alexander was conquering the world. So injured they remained there , separated they maintened the blood lineage so the look very European. I have seen another video about these people, hey claim : "THEY ARE MACEDONIANS BUT NOT GREEKS. CAUSE MACEDONIA WAS NOT GREEK. Cause Alexander was not greek. some rappresentants of these people went to visit the former government of Macedonia and they claim Macedonia is their mother land..
Simply by claiming that Macedonians are not Greek, means these people are right. I studied just about all the antiquity writers and I am really good at etymology and proven to the Historians (fools) that Macedonians are not Greek. My Pen name is Raven Alb J and you check it on Google, and see things I wrote about.
Most Persians Arabs Afghans Other Asians, Russians, Bosnians, Kazakhs etc look 30 at biologically 65!! This is normal to have babies in 50s ….People in West or living that fast lifestyle age faster and want everyone else to “age” like them also…ridiculous
Perhaps my ancestors were from there. My grandfather had green eyes so my aunties and cousins. My grandfather lived 100 years and he had all of his 32 teeth 🥰
I think they eat something that give them a good hormoon status. We in Norway lack that food, and therefore have symtoms of :" after middelages symtoms" This is a BIG SECRET AMONG HELTH CARE IN NORWAY. WHY....?
Guys, you are not informed well. My country Bulgaria, was the country with the biggest 100+ years people till Socialist came in 1944. On next street - the Name of the Street is of a person who lived 124 years. (He was a rich guy from 18-19-20th century) This was a common thing here. People in the past lived Longer, not shorter, specially in my region. In the West was different, because till 15-17th century they lived pretty barbaric way of life - therefore short life. Only civilized people live long, primitive and barbarians live very short. This is 100% truth in History. Everybody knows it, who learnt some History.
While this seems amazing, we may need to look further. When I was young, (a long time ago) men, that lived to their late 70's were rare. Medicine has improved greatly, although not always for the good. The two major factors are diet and low stress. Some people don't allow themselves to dwell on stressors'. That alone is a major plus....just saying.
Lol. I have been here. It’s not documented anything. The place and people r beautiful don’t get me wrong. But there’s no anti-aging anything. People age just anyone else
