The Mystical City of God 

Greetings from Spain. I am a great follower of this channel and I am a close friend of the nuns of Agreda, where the venerable Maria de Jesus de Agreda lived and her tomb is preserved. I have shown the nuns this video so they can see the beautiful apostolate you have done and they are very happy. Gabi, they send you their blessing and thanks for making the book and their venerable mother known.

I am a cradle Catholic who left for the protestant church for several decades. When my little boy was dying Mary came to me and has never left me. I am a practicing Catholic again finding comfort in Our Lady and Our Lord. Thank you sweet mother.

I’m a convert/revert, fell away from the church for 15 years. God and Mary brought me back this past February and your videos have led me to start going to confession once a week or every two weeks. I am allowed to receive Jesus again, after 15 years without him and I am receiving kneeling and on the tongue. I’m praying the baby rosary (five decades) daily but tried three rosaries a day for a week or two and MAN!!! You aren’t kidding about the graces. I’ve always had issues with a couple of my coworkers and they were bending over backwards to be nice to me. One even gave me a couple of gifts for no reason. My job is at a cafeteria at a high school and is very physically demanding and I had so much strength and energy I felt like I could work another shift after my first one was over which NEVER happens. Our Mother is so good to us!!! Praise God!! And thank YOU, Gabriel. You have helped me and continue to help me, to grow in my faith for maybe the first time in my life and I’m 47 years old. I just received my copy of the the four book TAN set and look forward to reading. I'm a former Protestant and convert to Catholicism so devotion to the Blessed Mother is new to me. I have recently joined my Parish Legion of Mary as an auxiliary (praying) member. Salve Regina!

I have been praying to be lead to a book that will help me know Mary so that I may love her more profoundly and I think my prayers have been answered. I have done my consecration to Jesus through Mary and I want my consecration to go deeper that it may take root that no matter what storm comes my way those roots will not be uprooted, Mary that I may know you more♥️🙏

I’m a convert since 1991 praise God! It was the Blessed Virgin that carefully led me since I was in a Catholic school in 1st & 2nd grade. I used to kneel before all the enormous statues in the chapel not knowing at all what I was doing or what statue was representing who. Mary! Oh she saved me! SHE is so sweet & wonderful! I thank God for her!!! Jesus! What a mother you have! Thank you for giving her to us. I’m 61 now. Have been completely cured from cancer. Am a Traditional devout Catholic. Married 42 yrs to a wonderful Catholic husband, & am blessed in my children & grandchildren. I yearn for Heaven but Mary makes this earth bearable.

I am on volume two and this is the most profound, life-changing book I have ever read, I already want to read it all over again, and I haven't even finished it all once....

My perish has a statue of blessed sulanus Casey in our entry. I live in Michigan. I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit every time I say his name and I swear his statue smiles at me every time I pay homage to it. I feel I was led to this video by him as I have found it by accident. I’m going to read this book now

I was for so long a Catholic only in my Baptism when I was a baby and we went to Mass when I was little, then my family just stopped going. I finally became confirmed when I was 30 and I am so blessed to have the chance and blessing to become The Catholic I am truly meant to be. I was introduced to this spiritual work through Fr. Donald Calloway's "Consecration to St. Joseph: Wonders of our Spiritual Father". I don't think I'll read 4 volumes that contain 2,676 pages. But I may read the popular abridgement which was made to spread this account to a much broader audience. I really am into the apparitions and visions of Mary. They have opened my mind and heart up to God. This is certainly a book that I want to get one day to understand Mary and Jesus more. God bless you! :)

Can you imagine how deeply Our Lady must have longed to go to Mass? A Mother whose Son had died and then ascended, the longing for Her Son to be near to Him in a material way. Surely she knew He was in Heaven, but I can’t help but think she missed Him afterwards. As mothers do. How deeply she must have loved St John and the apostles as they were the only way she could touch her Son again. The profound love and so pure. May we all desire to receive Him as Momma Mary did, and gather around her feet as the apostles must have, drawing near to hear about Our Lord as a child and all the inner life of the Holy Family 💜🙏🏻 Mediatrix of All Graces, please pray for us 🙏🏻💕💙

Any person who wants to love, know and untie themselves with Jesus, should read the Mystical City of God. Thank you Father for the wonderful wonderful summary of this holy book on the hidden life of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. It gives us so much content to meditate on while we pray the rosary. The greatest books ever given from heaven for the benefit of man. To know the mother is to truly know the son. open any of the four volumes anywhere and your breath will be taken away from you. Having read the four volumes at least 5 times from start to finish I would gladly live on a desert island or a hidden cave and be the happiest man on this earth. would anybody change the mother willed for you by the eternal. So only our lady was fit to be the mother of God. unfathomable. God bless all who read this gift from Heaven

Thank you for this video. I received the book from a brother in the community who is a priest in 1997. I remember reading it but haven't finished it. Just as i was watching and listening, i retrieve the book. I resolve to pick it up agin and to finish it...

Been working through this for over a year. It's a beautiful work. I love that Mary gives us lessons to learn how to conform our lives with hers. The story of Mary of Agreda is one every American Catholic should know as it is verified and accepted by even our National Park Service.

One day, by reading the interpretation of Proverbs 8, Rev 12, and Rev 21, in the Mystical City of God, I understood that I had been wrong all of my life on regards to the future home in heaven described in Apoc 21 and 22. I always understood, that these chapters were about the Church in heaven, just as St Augustine an many Church Fathers had interpreted it , even until know. But now, I understand that they are all about the Virgin Mary. There is there some resemblance with the Church, But I know now that God wanted to reveal, what Jesus couldn't tell his disciples about the Blessed Virgin Mary, because they were not ready (cf. Jn 16:12). Supposedly, the Church should be ready by now to understand this mystery of Mary; but, I don't know what holds her back. More over, I think I had it understood right, but one day I woke up with the words you said at the beginning: " Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard what God has prepared for those who love him" and later on, by listening again the interpretation of chapter 21 of the Mystical City of God, I understood that this chapter did not referred only to the future life ( because I had it ingrained in my soul as the Church in the world to come), but mostly to the past, when the Blessed Virgin was conceived, revealed in that verse of the Holy City, the New Jerusalem descending from heaven as a Bride prepared for her husband (Apoc 21:2), so as to be the Tabernacle of God among men (cf. Apoc 21:3). Then I realized, that there must be in these verses something which can tell why it is not possible to interpret the Church in these chapters, but Solely Mary. I am working on it, but may be, you could find it. Thanks.

It's a treasure for me. I have the book but it's so voluminous and can be hard to go really far although extremely rich, but since I downloaded the audiobook I've almost finished all four volumes in a month or so, as I can actually be listening while heading to work or about my daily chores. It's so cool. I'd sooner start afresh. Every Catholic and just about everyone should have this book

The first volume of The Mystical City goes from Mary's Immaculate Conception till her 14th year. Vol 2 narrates from the Annunciation to the Lord's baptism by John, if I remember correctly. Vol 3 of Free LIBRIVOX audiobook read by Ann Boulais, goes from our Lord's ministry to His Ascension. Vol. 4 covers our Lady's role in the early church through her Assumption. I was sad when the reading ended! Wished it went on and on. Glad that her life continues in heaven and with each believer in her Incarnate Son.

Oh, father, I am so glad to hear someone talking about this book! This book is an absolute treasure and gift to the Church. I have tried to share this knowledge with others, but you, by far, are reaching so many more. God bless your work spreading the story of Mary and the beautiful way God created Her for the work of salvation. I attempted this book in my early 20's, put it down because I was unfamiliar with the beautiful language of it. Took it up a year later and devoured every word. I believe we have to be properly disposed to receive this treasure.

I have known many years of this work. I first came across it when I was in seminary. I have been ordained for 40 years.

Infinite in its flawless mystagogy, it is truly miraculous that such infinite wisdom is readily available to anyone willing to wash their hands, say a prayer and read a book ~ in these times. Anyone who experiences this work will be changed, forever.

Thank you for the beautiful video and the book and I agree . This reminded me today we celebrate Pentecost Monday. After mass , I saw the bigger picture of Blessed Mother Mary . She was called full of grace because God made a perfect match for her son who is God . When Blessed Mother Mary said yes at annunciation the power of God overshadowed her and the Holyspirit came upon her becoming one with God , Holy Spirit and son . At the foot of the cross Jesus looked at her mother and Said woman behold your son , giving blessed mother Mary full authority and power over the disciples and all children including us because , beloved John represented disciples and us as her children. Important event to note is Blessed Mother presence at the upper room with the disciples ready to receive the Holy Spirit renewal . We note at the wedding at Cana Mary instructed the disciples to do what Jesus will tell them to do. Jesus never used the word mother but women because the mission of blessed mother Mary was bigger and Jesus never wanted to confuse that role . At the garden of Eden in the book of genesis, man gave the serpent authority and power to rule the garden that God entrusted him with when they ate forbidden fruit and sin was born separating God and man unity . When serpent was asked he kept quiet, when Adam was asked he blamed the woman . God is so holy in nature and he is love that’s why his Son Jesus needed to come through Pure love and chastity of blessed mother . Jesus Christ our savior and redeemer came to show us the love of the father and reconcile us with God the father and ourselves his mission began at the baptism in Jordan river and choosing disciple , the gospel then the gift of ❤sufferings, passion, crucification death and resurrection of our lord and savior. The cross ,the great sign of love . Blessed mother suffered with the son at the foot of the cross prophet Simeon prophesied her heart will be pierced with her sword , watching the son’s suffering taking all the abuses .I believe her presence was strength for her son as she interceded . We too blessed mother suffers with us . She has always been present in my life through tough situations and I just love her she’s real

Amazing Video everyone!! I have had this book for over a year now and have always found it difficult to get through. I am going to re-commit myself to reading the entire thing this summer. As I opened up this video this morning I received a crystal clear instruction from the Holy Spirit: "If you want to truly be my Apostle, imitate My Mother." There is my problem. I am praying lots of Rosaries, enrolled in Marian Confraternities, the MI, etc. but I wasn't striving enough to imitate Her, to BE another Mary for others. Thank you Lord for this wonderful insight! My son is going to Spain to study the language. I so hope he returns to church and rosary. He has a statue of buddy in his room. He does shock me by saying Christian things or Catholic statements. He had a bed concussion and by the Gracee of God he didn't die.

I bought this book in my teens.... Saw it in my shelve months ago. I've not opened it for the first time.... I'm going to start reading right away
