Some art reaches into your chest and pulls out the strings of your heart. one piece at a time, This brought me to my knees angels and devils Montana mountains and valleys in memories. I don't know what they are saying but I can feel what they are feeling. I think its better that I don't know French, Language can be destracting. Whats a Nagash?

The group is named for the Armenian medieval poet Mkrtich Naghash, whose texts are set to music by the Ensemble.

Mkrtich Naghash was a poet monk who was exiled during the ottoman days for having a built a church with a steeple higher than that of the mosques around him.. he refused to take it down so they sent him packing into the desert where he wrote the poems that these compositions are based on...

I can appreciate it, but its not my thing. I can see it as a soundtrack for a movie. Kind of operatic. Shrill. It grates on my nerves. Elicits a crescendo of angst or anxiety in me, not harmony. The base vocals are coming from the chick on our right facing them. The tall one. Wow.
