Honestly as a whole. Rango is a masterpiece. In my opinion, that oscar was more than deserved.

The little “hiss” (I assume a cymbal?) at 1:02, as Jake slides on screen in front of Rango, did not have to be there but dang it rly added to the moment

This is the first one of these that I could imagine being done well by a High School Band. And I love that.

And then, he realized the story he wrote, he moved forward to save those he defrauded, and in the middle of a cemetery of heroes, the imposter returns to recover what belongs to him. *HIS HONOR, HIS FAITH, HIS MEDAL, HIS LEGACY*

"it only takes one bullet." this movie without a doubt had the BIGGEST glowups.

This combination of trumpet and harmonica seems to be the peak of western soundtrack epicness. Two most noticeable instruments in that genre combined in such a great and thrilling way.

Very similar to Parlay from Pirates of the Caribbean and I love that both movies have same Composer and director. Fun fact guitar part in the score Parlay was played by the director Gore Verbinski

It reminds me a lot of the soundtrack of movies like The Good, the Bad and the Ugly or Once Upon a Time in the West, you can tell they were inspired

I just realized that the harmonica part is a callback to Harmonica's theme from Once Upon a Time in the West. Almost the exact same notes too.
