Thank you my Vetus did exactly the same today ,after a long layup due to pandemic ten minutes before arrival of boat safety inspector .thankfully he was able to do the same as you to stop it very stressful day great video regards Chris
Yes, this is a real funny fault on these Vetus engines for sure. You think how the heck I am going to stop this thing when they do this. I bet mine is stuck again as it has not run in ages with the pandemic! Glad you found the video of use. Thanks for your kind comment Kev.
I have now long sold that boat I liked the Vetus engine however going back when I looked at this part way back then the only parts that would fit were Vetus! And they were very expensive indeed! After I fixed mine it never stuck again and like I said I sold this boat so I doubt you would find anything else other than Vetus parts that would fit knowing their engines! But I may be wrong and things may have changed now that was all a number of years ago. Good luck all the best Kev.

@@AQUA-Mannie Yep I got this one going again on my old boat I just found this on ebay it looks very much like the one on the Vetus site! see link to ebay one. I do know some Mitsubishi parts can be used if you can find the right ones someone got me some cheap heater plugs that were that make and fitted fine and looks just the same to me!
