This is the their hardest song and one of their best.

I wish they had written more rockers like this and Abel. Tremendous band, regardless.

Anyone who ever dated someone they didn't love, or loved someone who didn't love them back can relate to the scorn and self-loathing in these lyrics.

I have a different feeling of the song. I think it is really the question of eating each other, of lasting passion what you cannot control. The song is all about the desire, the will to touch the other one who is so available so irresistable. To be touched, liquored up, dressed donw giving yourself away to the hands of the beloved. And the end of the song is just lust. Let's do it (again) the yearn for it! A great song! Passion & intensity, beautiful.
