The Spanish National Day on 12th October 2023, marks a significant milestone in its illustrious history. The grand gala, orchestrated by the SBC in collaboration with the Spanish Embassy in Abu Dhabi, was an exuberant blend of festivity and unity.
On this occasion, were witnessed over 2,000 attendees, making it a historic moment for the SBC. It was a testament to the organization's dedication to promoting business ties, fostering cultural exchange, and building a thriving community. The event epitomized the values of unity, diversity, and collaboration that both Spain and the UAE cherish.
This celebration is not only for the Spanish community, but for its friends and colleagues in the country, the United Arab Emirates. Eminent guests from the UAE and Spain graced the occasion, making it an unforgettable and meaningful event. Notably, the guest of honor was H. E. Aysha bin Suwaidan Al Suwaidi, Director of the Department of European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a testament to the robust bilateral relations between the UAE and Spain.
The event started with heartfelt speeches from the Ambassador of Spain, Íñigo de Palacio España, and the President of the Spanish Business Council, Guillermo Cobelo. These addresses reiterated the commitment to nurturing the strong and dynamic relationship between Spain and the UAE across various sectors.
