Thanks for a swift post of what looks like a terrific show. Fyi Neal Katyal, Mr November fan, was the former solicitor general under Obama. While he may sometimes "fight for good things" he only does so when it suits his corporate law firm clients - and their shareholders' interests, which, legally, must be profits. Sure it's great he likes awesome music, but it ain't worth shit to fans who need talented, connected lawyers like Katyal to do better by us
Your view is incomplete. First, he is significantly the lawyer responsible for convincing the government to apologize for its role in the internment of Japanese Americans in WW2. Second, he was on Gore's legal team against Bush in the 2000 election. He argued against Guantanamo detention during W's term. He has argued 9x in front of SCOTUS, winning 7 or 8, can't remember. He has covered all sides, left and right, like any good lawyer should, but is one of the few lawyers who can pick his own cases, even at his firm. He has been named the best lawyer in the country twice. He has only worked for a firm since Obama left office. I think it is great the band likes him. It shows they are not going to make their friendships based on pleasing the political views of (some) of their fans and waste their time with virtue signalling. Bravo!
Thanks for recording and sharing! Great show. This is near where I was standing, so you may have caught some of my "wooo's" on here! And it's nice to be able to relive it.
