The National Mall, Washington DC. 

A recent trip to Washington DC allowed us 3-days to explore the National Mall. Forget about the politics, just enjoy the history and the beauty of the buildings and the art they contain. We visited the Smithsonian's, the National Gallery of Art, the Memorials, the Capital Building, and the Library of Congress. This is a must do trip for everyone.
