Synopsis
Three time travelers find themselves in the era of ancient times during events described in a book called the Bible. As they are traveling in the desert, they happen upon a caravan heading to the city Bethlehem so that they may be included in the census as ordered by Caesar Augustus who decreed that all must return to the birthplace of their families to be counted. A young couple named Mary and Joseph are also on their way to Bethlehem. They were told by a heavenly angelic messenger named Gabriel that they would give birth to a special child who should be named Jesus. He would save people from their sins and would be the everlasting Prince of Peace. In the meantime three wise men are headed to Jerusalem to see the newborn king. Herod, the current king, does not take favorably to this and orders that all children two years and under in the city of Bethlehem must be put to death.
