But Jesus' birth anniversary falls on March 26 (Nisan 1) this year. There's nothing wrong with celebrating Christmas if you do it in spirit and in truth (John 4:24) but we all know that He wasn't really born on the 25th of December. If you just celebrate for the sake of celebrating then you're not doing it for the Lord. If you do it for the Lord, you do it in spirit and in truth. Otherewise, you're just doing it in vain.

December 25: There is no proof that Jesus was born on that date. Church leaders likely chose this date to coincide with pagan festivals held on or around the winter solstice.
I am using this to teach a class of children and seniors today a few weeks after Christmas. It is a celebration of our Lord’s coming. That should be remembered every single day not just on Christmas.
The greatest story ever told! I come back to watch this every Christmas to remind my family of the ultimate gift that was given to us while we open our gifts. Merry Christmas everyone!
Beautiful opening Narrating . A day is as a thousand years to God.. Jesus may have been away from earth for 2,000 years- but to GOD it is 2 days ago. May this world open their eyes and soften their hearts that they may see Jesus and be healed.
I am so moved by this story and you did a very good job with the accuracy according to the Bible. My heart has been touched in a profound way and I thank you for allowing us to be a part of your creation.
My heart and spirit are overwhelmed with so much joy with the love of our Savior Jesus Christ... Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy and for the ultimate sacrifice that you made for us... Merry Christmas to everyone... God bless!!!
THE MOST IMPRESSIVE SIXTEEN MINUTES OF CINEMA HISTORY !! This is what we must celebrate: God made man, the Nativity of our Lord Jesus Christ, to Him be all the glory and power for ever and ever. Amen.
@philnice75 Even Muslims recognize in the Qur'an that Jesus was born in Bethlehem, to a Virgin woman named Mary. The wise men were great connoisseurs of astronomy and the Holy Scriptures, especially the prophecies of Isaiah, Micah, Luke and Matthew, which is why they were guided by the stars to reach the place of Jesus' birth: Bethlehem.

@@Azarable At the Council of Trent (where the most intelligent people in the world were in religious matters), this topic and many others were already discussed, so many that a small book (called the Catechism) had to be written to clarify this and many other doubts. But why do people who do not believe in Jesus have to disprove Christians? The Bible calls these people, rightly so, 'ignorant'. I respect all religions, but what interest do non-believers in Jesus have in denying everything he said (which was already prophesied, by the way, 600, 800 or 1000 years ago). All the best Universities in the world were founded by Catholics. They should know something right?
@@Azarable The opinion of early Christians that celebrating one's birth was their tradition. It is not forbidden in the Bible. But this event was prophesied throughout the Old Testament, announced by angels, and a king tried to prevent it. It seems some Christians would naturally want to acknowledge or celebrate it. While we acknowledge that the date is uncertain, the birth is a certainty. Whether one chooses to incorporate trees and other traditions is a matter of opinion. Christians can rejoice that a Savior is born without criticizing others. The angels proclaimed the good news. This is good news because each of us NEED a Savior!
@Jose Manuel Rosa, AMEN! & Here is the The Nativity Story movie link. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lmPrUFguQ0Y.html Merry Christmas!
We saw this when it came out in theaters years ago. We got it on DVD, and we have watched it every year until this year, when we discovered it had somehow been damaged.😞 Glad to see even this short version. Thank you.
May the love of Christ be with us all. God has no favorites, nor does He damn. Remember Him only in the love He has for every one of us - all 8 billion. No matter faith or lack thereof. Do not let fear tell you otherwise. Selah.

Our 21st CHRISTLIKE CHRISTIAN CENTURY Spirit Reality Historical TRUTH Story. We Desperately Need. Monday, 28, November, 2022AD. Oh! Yes LORD!!! THANK YOU GOD FOR EVERYTHING. AMEN and AMEN and AMEN!!!
2023 - This is still my favorite Nativity movie. I watch it throughout the year, not just at Christmastime. The birth of my Savior is to be celebrated all of the time…. The Passion of the Christ is another movie, which I still have not been able to watch every single scene because of the pain in my heart. The pain of my sins that my Holy Savior, my Redeemer carried to cross in my place. Yet, HE defeated death, the death caused by my sins, and HE rose on the third day. He was the “propitiation” (the sacrifice that satisfied God) for my sins, my horrible sins, of which there was no redemption until my Savior sacrificed Himself for me….for you…for all of those who choose to believe. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son; that WHOSOEVER believeth on Him should not perish, but have EVERLASTING LIFE!! “ AMEN!! Please listen to His Holy Spirit, speaking to your heart….follow me- Repent, and follow me. You will become a new creature in Christ. God loves you!!!! May God bless you all!! 🙏🏼❤️❤️
This is how it came to pass then. That a baby would be born in Bethlehem to the Virgin, whose name was Mary. . . .& his name was Jesus. Thanks so much for sharing this w/us Truth According to Scriptures.
What a shame that they took this film off of RU-vid because it used to be available free in its entirety less than a year ago! You’ll notice that many Christian films have been taken off for free public viewing. This was one of my favorite Christmas movies and probably one of the first that actually showed Saint Joseph in his role, his most important role as the foster father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When he began to cry with joy at the birth of our Savior that was an extremely touching scene and moment. I wish they would put this back on RU-vid. Merry Christmas and God bless everyone! ✝️🎄.
The Magi did not come to Jesus in the manger on the night of His birth. They came to Joseph and Mary’s house (Matthew 2:11). According to Matthew 2:16 Jesus was likely about two years old at that time.
