I love the cutscenes. It's so cinematic and inspirational. Keanu-san throwing down the poetic deep thoughts about life, art, whiskey and everything in between.
One of the best memories of my life was visiting Yamazaki distillery in the autumn and drinking a Hibiki 30 year old under the warm sunshine with the autumn breeze gently blowing.
What a beautiful documentation of the generations long journey of the whisky, The craftsmanship the dedication the true artisanship that goes into the making of the spirit!, this is a beautifully done film by Coppola, (who does his family heritage proud as well!) by blending such a moving and beautiful piece of photography with such a lovely musical score and the calm beautiful person of Keanu Reeves narrating with such reverence❤ These films are wonderful and show such great respect for the thousands of years of Japanese culture! 🥰
I enjoyed this 4 part story so very much. It was very interesting and beautiful at the same time. Thank you so much Suntory and thank you also to Keanu, a beautiful soul.💖🙏🙏💖
Beautiful series. We try to learn kata, find the reasoning behind things, the good materials, good procedures, in our work, our training, our lives. And then we start to realize that there's more to that, there's intention, there's the unpredictable, there's luck. And the technique becames art.
I won’t appreciate tasting all these whiskeys cause I’m not drinking whisky, but I know my mom will understand and appreciate it more cause she loves whiskey. That’s all she drinks…on occasion of course. But I do appreciate the art, care and the work that goes into making this drink and what it means to Keanu.
Keanu meu amor muito obrigada por compartilhar tanto conhecimento e aprendizado como eu queria estar do seu lado todos os dias de nossas vidas sempre sua Maria por toda sua vida ♥️♥️
I like how this documentary is a skillfully crafted advertisement for spirits. I like the effort put into it but hate that it's tied to a corporate business. Let's hope they're honest and family orientated.
