I was at a mothing (lepidoptera) event in southern Ohio years ago. The group had moth sheets with all sorts of lights to attract moths, set up through the Shawnee Forest. We were out in those woods well after midnight. One of the local bus drivers commented about a Bigfoot event the weekend before and none of those attendees would go out into the forest after 9 pm. I told the driver that if one of our group saw Bigfoot, we’d ask him/her where would be a good spot to set up a moth station! lol
I think when you mention Sasquatch,for most people that brings to mind the shy,inquisitive,gentle giant,the silent sentry of the forest..just peeking around a tree watching us humans. I wager some are probably pretty close to that,howev I also believe some are much more aggressive!! I believe some are even man-eaters..😬

You know the networks just buy the shows right? They don't fact check the programs they just air them. It could have been FOX'S Finding Bigfoot. Or NBC's Finding Bigfoot.
