By year 3 Castle will be the best player of his draft and most likely knocking at the door of the All Defensive team. If he becomes a bigger DWhite, it will also not be bad.

Castle will be an amazing Spur. The Spurs do good with their big point guards drafted at the end of the 1st round: Hill, Dejounte Murray, Derrick White, hell, even Corey Joseph played for a decade in the NBA. Castle has a chance to be better than all of them -- he's certainly the biggest player of the group from a physical standpoint.

Dejounte Murray is 1 inch shorter at 6'5 and 50 pounds!! Lighter than Castles 6'6" at 230 lbs.

I been a Stephon Castle 🏰 supporter before draft lottery, before their college season started. I love his defense playmaking and his shooting is under appreciated. I promise his shooting will get there. It's not lost like most spurs fans believe. Btw do you have X?

All I'm going to say is, the rest of the league better hope and pray that the Spurs make the playoffs. Because what you don't want is for them to miss the playoffs, end up in the lottery and they mess around and get the first pick. It's a long shot but if that occurs, Cooper Flagg, Stephon Castle and Wemby will run through the league for a decade. Again, it's a long shot but if that happens, it will be a huge problem.

The spurs haven't been the same since we lost the big 3. Duncan, Parker, and Ginóbili. Also Kawhi Leonard too. Last Championship was in 2014.

In that championship run and especially the finals Jrue was their second best player. Middleton could give you more scoring, but wasn’t the playmaker or defender that Jrue was.

Spurs desperately need 3-4 more 38%+ 3pt shooters on the roster, at least 2 guys who are 3pt specialists. They're also short a backup 5, gonna be real rough to win without any spacing on the team.
