I wonder why EMBIID was a clear MVP and LUKA with the same points but more assists doesnt have that... I’d say this is part of why the rightful owner of the MVP rarely wins as many MVPs as they deserve. the best player loses just ‘cause people are tired of them winning, and chose the next best thing (instead of the actual best)

The award is going to be handed out before then so it would have to be a one seed. I look at 1 game the rest of the year that will potentially decide if he wins MVP or not. March 14th they’re primetime TNT against the Mavericks. Do they get smacked by Luka and the Mavs again? Or can SGA have an incredible game and manage to go toe-to-toe with Luka and pull out the win in primetime. He leads them to victory in that game, then I think it’s his because it will not be easy. Both players are going to know what’s on the line.
