Wemby has to improve his body as much as possible(not much extra weight) to be more than an average/decent player. He is the KD type and not the Giannis bodytype and while this works for KD since he shoots lights out from anywhere, it's a disadvantage in the paint(where Wemby lives). Grip strength, awareness, box out, positioning and right timing in jumps for rebounds are things he has to improve...yesterday!
Wemby gained 25 pounds of muscle in the last year, and for someone that tall it's a substantial increase. I agree that he should work more on strength and muscle, but I think maintaining a good jumper and avoiding injury is better for him right now. Giannis lost his shooting when he transitioned to a run-and-dunker, and the physicality in that playstyle could expose Wemby to the risk of potentially serious injury. I think what he's doing now is sufficient for his development, skill-wise and physically.
