Weather-sealing... you're living my dream. This years 'real' weather - the winds and the rains - have just arrived where I live, and my weather-sealed body is still two weeks away. I can't wait!!! Sharing your misery - all the best from a cabin in a swamp in a rain-forest in New Zealand.

Wow! This really is proof that it is just worth making the best with the conditions you are presented with. There are some wonderful images in there, which would have been missed had you not braved the elements. It also shows how important it is to be wearing the right protective gear. WTG guys for soldiering on and getting some great images. Sure I spotted you Mali at Sandbach services southbound on bank holiday Monday. We were returning home from doing Ben Nevis in near perfect conditions , would have said hello but I was having a hard time convincing the guy parked next to me that it would be easier for me to vacate my car parking space first 😂 I did win in the end and some incredible images from the summit were a bonus 🏔️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿📷👌

Some stunning images in this one Mali. I think I have the same jacket and have found it extremely good in the rain. I only get wet when I stop to take a photo and it runs up my sleeves. 🙂

Your defiantly right about those Berghaus jackets they are crap . Bought one many years ago and it leaked on the first day out in the rain never again. Rab is the way forward in gore-tex jackets. Great video by the way 👍. Some really great photos .

Well done for sticking with it and getting to the top, some really nice images and like the processing especially on the image at 11:40 lovely mood to that . Hope your gear made it unscathed , looked brutal towards the top. I gave up on the youtube algorithm a long time ago, i can not dedicate the time required to produce consistently , what with work and family life there are just not enough hours in the day. Do it for you own enjoyment i say and if other like it to , so much the better. Take care mate.

When conditions are that bad you done the right thing and just carried on filming and talking that's what you do best making a good video when you are up against it! I don't blame you for not getting the camera out or the new lens, but carry on regardless! well done and thank you! How long did it take you to dry out? its a wonder you did not go rusty......

Well, it was certainly real; crackin' shots though. Gortex jackets, they're waterproof, are they bucolics. The best advice I ever heard regarding an 'outer shell' is get the cheapest tackiest light plastic raincoat you can find, the sort you can chuck a bucket of water at shake it and the waters gone. When it stops raining take it off. You wear any coat when you're doing anything energetic you get 'atmosphere' on the inside. He's not a fascist, he's just from Yorkshire 😉
