His name was Georg Kastriotti but he was known as Skanderbeg by the Ottomans while he served in their army. Worth noting that he only really fought in Northern Albania and most of the South was still under Ottoman control

Anguilla did get out of the union with St Kitts and Nevis eventually after a period of direct British rule it became a self governing overseas British dependency as it still is.

Lol this really happened . I'm from Dominica BTW. But we have longed moved past this and is arguably the most beautiful island in the world. We have 365 rivers the 2nd largest boiling Lake in the world and a haven full of wildlife. Visit Dominica trust me it's worth it
The Dominican Republic had three expeditions in the 20th century to overthrow Rafael Trujillo. There are Cayo Confites, Cuba in 1947, Luperon, Dominican Republic in 1949. And Finally, Constanza, Estero Hondo, and Maimon in June 1959. Check it out if you want.
I know a similiar story, from another small island nation in another ocean, the Republic Seychellois. I can't recall when it took place but the attempted coup maker was an international mercenary named Renè Charles. He assembled a quite large force of some hundred men, with subvert support once again from South Africa. The boat docked and the mercenaries stormed ashore, engaging with the minuscule armed forces of the Seychelles in heavy street fighting in the capital Victoria. But the semi-trained servicemen somehow managed to hold their own against the burnished mercenaries, making for a major international humiliation for the Apartheid regime. The mercenary leader Charles managed to capture an escape airplane at the airport at gunpoint, and escaped together with a few of his men, the surviving rest were taken captive by the itty-bitty army of the republic. They were proudly displayed and eventually extradited to South Africa. I guess that many details here are wrong, this is at least what I think I can remember about the event.
