Erica Caines has embodied an incredible presence and intellect when I have had a chance to hear her speak at length. Her discussion of the Harris/Trump debate and its implications was the best I have seen by far. I am not about making people who are busy doing the work into people who have to deal with parasocial layers... but it would be like an oasis to hear that perspective and voice in full gear more often :) In fact I am now even more impressed, watching EC doing something which most people possessing that kind of scholarly fire cannot do: listening. Thank you so much for keeping me less intellectually isolated and more informed.
