That The Netherlands won't reach Russia in 2018, is almost a fact. I think they also might not reach the European Championship after Russia. The only thing we could do is keep supporting the team and hope we'll reach the WC in 2022 or the EC in 2024. Stay positive people! With this the rest of the world is warned, because The Netherlands will be the world champion!

I think the problem is deeper than just having a bad manager. Since the generation of Robben, RVP, and Schneider, Holland have not been able to produce a single world class player. Holland keepers are reserves at club level and when I look at the new emerging world stars of tomorrow, I can't see a single Dutch player. Is the "Bosman ruling" to blame? Was Cruyff (and to what degree) right in criticizing Ajax Academy (I remember something in that regard)? Why is that Dutch clubs can not nurture the young talent as they used to? Is it because there are too many foreigners playing in the Dutch league and the Dutch players are deprived of having the chance to show their talent and potential? Germany and Spain have had the best national teams in the past 10 years, and when I look at Real, Barcelona, Bayern and Dortmund, I can see world class Spanish and German players playing a big part in the success of their teams. That is not the case in Dutch, English, and Italian clubs (Juventus being the exception to some degree), and as a result their national teams have suffered. Mind you, Holland success at 2010 W.Cup was based on the magic of Robben and Schneider, The same 2 players carried the team at 2014 W.Cup ( assisted by Van Gull's superb job), and today the same 2 players are the only world class players in the Dutch team. Something is deeply wrong. I am afraid even if the Dutch qualify for 2018 W.Cup, as long as Holland club academies are not able to work their magic as they used to; it would take a long time before we see another mighty Dutch generation. In your next videos (if possible) , please interview the Dutch academy directors, and managers; as well as personalities like Van basten, Van Gull, Frank De Boer, Koman, and others. They sure know a thing or two as to the reasons beyond the current dilemma. Keep up the good work.
