Marketing idea for when the full interconnected standalone series is completed: have a few shorts/tiktoks for each trope/theme and emphasize that they don't have to be rwad in order. Also, show the cover image for all the books at the end of the clip (while pointing out which title is the subject of the clip).
I'm a mood reader, so knowing I don't have to read in order sometimes gets me to read books I wouldn't have gotten to otherwise. One standalone series I read started with childhood best friends, then single dad, then brother's best friend. I actually read it single dad, childhood best friends, and brother's best friend based on the mood I was in after starting each book.
Hi Katie, greetings from the UK. What do you do with printed drafts of your manuscripts? I always keep draft one just for comparison to the finished product, but I have numerous storage boxes of 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc printed drafts. Do you shred yours or do you keep them?
question for the next vlog that is totally not writing related but what kinds of home workouts have you been doing lately? I need inspiration and I don't feel like going all the way to the gym 😂
