The Neverhood is a 1996 point-and-click adventure video game.
The game follows the adventure of a claymation character named Klaymen as he discovers his origins and his purpose in a world made entirely out of clay.
Klaymen finds himself in some lab with the strange machine where he needs to combine color crystals.
After he entered the right combination of colors, he shrunk!
Cute little Klaymen can get to the places where the big one couldn't.
But he needs to find the right portion of ingredients to make himself big again in the next room.
He therefore needs to get back to Green Lake and use the putt-putt car again.
Once he has the right combination he can enter a new part of the world.
In that part of the world, he uses teleports for travelling.
First, he needs to solve the symbol puzzle in something reminding him of a computer terminal.
He recalls that he spotted one near the lake, so he needs to get back there and remember the right combination of symbols.
