Wow So many more fantastic options… made Available… Sorry Winnebago revel there was 2/many up grades needed…. These new up Grades upon Storyteller Beast mode 4 x 4 By far is the Winner!
I knew there was a reason why I like a lot of 'Hot Sauce' in my life....... I digress.....................😂😂😂 I really do think that fold away shower is a nifty idea for compact spaces.... The multi use seating is also great! Smart plugs are the ONLY way to go!!! Really like the auto start/boost feature.... The Story Teller truly does tell a Fun Story! Hope you boys are well and safe! Hugs to you both~ xoxo Randolph
Just discovered your videos, enjoying them. I’m considering the Winnebago Ekko ( that’s how I found your videos ) Wondering why you decided against it? I’ve been looking at so many models and manufacturers.
We LOVE our Volta power system and couldn’t live in an RV without it. Also being able to get off road, maneuver around tight trail heads and even parallel park in cities was important to us. Also- we were never too fond of Winnebago build quality, and went with another manufacturer known for exceptional build quality and customer service.
@@ChadandPaul Thanks for getting back. So many models and manufacturers to consider. I hear you for all the reasons you mentioned. I would like to park in regular parking spots but also want a bit more room. The Ekko seems like a compromise. Would like a well insulated unit with sufficient electrical power.. also considering the Coachman Nova with lithium. Haven’t heard too many great things about build quality for Winnebago or Coachman. Anyway, enjoying your vids and living vicariously for now. Your vids are a nice mixture of the adventures you both go on and also the ones comparing vans.
Great video STO certainly makes a great van. I still wish they would freshen up the interior with a more contemporary aesthetic and color scheme instead of the same old-man, RV brown.
Yes. The brown cabinets. Agree on taste, but the brown wood makes it look a little dated. I’m sure it’s nicer in person, but I’m just surprised for such an innovative, forward thinking company, they aren’t using a more updated color inside.
Hey Steven- just responded to your other comment on the why’s… namely- the Volta power system, build quality, off-road capability, size, flexibility of living space and community.
The Volta system is the best power system on the market in vans. And having lived in a Winnebago with a fixed shower, and a storyteller full time, I can say with certainty that the Storyteller Overland shower is AMAZING. Instant hot water, great water pressure and so easy to use and stowe away. Before you knock it, I'd rent one and try out the shower and see how insane the Volta power system is... And the beard is staying.
Live in northern Alaska. Insulation? Effective heat when -20f? Water tank insulation and heating of storage at -20f? Mortgage financing? Wench possible? Service in northwest US and Alaska and Canada? Available in Ford as well as Mercedes? Thank you looks good. Known probs to be aware of in far North?
Many people chase powder with these all winter. I'd check in the storyteller facebook group- there are many responses to extremely cold-weather camping and i'm sure owners would be happy to answer your questions.
