My GLS is arriving in December 2023, and to be honest, I'm not too thrilled with the facelift. It still feels kind of outdated. I mean, it's not just BMW that's showing us how to make cars look modern; even Mercedes' own products like the E-Class look way more luxurious and up-to-date. The GLS really deserves a more distinctive side profile. And as for the interior, they should've replaced that awkwardly mounted display and given the seats better leather.

Purchased new 2024 GLS 450 over two weeks ago. Engine warning light and the hybrid/starter light came on after only driving 2 miles. Turned around and took it back to the dealer. The air intake leaks and needs parts which Mercedes can't fulfill. The hybrid problem can't be assessed since the car can't be started. No idea when I'll get the car fixed and returned. If I had to do it over again, I would steer clear of M B. Buyer beware...

For that price, the rough leather in the GLS seems cheap and not high quality. The Nappa leather only comes in like one or two colors which is a bummer. I agree with you on the no rear view mirror camera. It would be nice if Mercedes had a Digital Key feature or remote start on the key fob.

I would say yes considering this is a luxury 3 row suv from Mercedes. You still get a lot of features. The one in this video isn't the most basic base model because it had some additional safety tech and leather seats but a lot of what was shown in the video can be had on the base model.
