Recently got back into Warcry after only playing one game with the original box set years ago. I took one look at Khorne Daemons and my first thought was “These are all so expensive for their stats”. They should all be buffed to strength 5 I think. And/or given some better crit chance mechanic.
Daemons of Khorne are difficult i think; To play into their fantasy, their either want to have really high strength so that they do the whole 'cutting through armour' thing, or high crit damage. I'm not actually opposed to having a high strength, average damage faction in the game - would mean that numerically they become very consistent with their hits and near uncounterable.
@@OffMetaMusings yeah that sounds good, high strength average damage to get a good consistent amount that will make tough high cost guys like Stormcast think twice about diving straight in.
Think you guys were tough on FEC. I think the new lists are strong, at least so far so good for me. Seraphon look a lot of fun and awesome models to paint
I think FEC need someone who really wants to put in thr work. Their new bladeborn warband would probably want to be a core of any build thanks to the inherent action econ
I'm hoping that the shatterer hits along with the FoMo are enough, forcing Horns to go -1 fighter; it looks like they have pivoted into Vexmor and friends but remains to be seen how effective that actually is.
We talked about them at the end :) Solid C-Tier definitely; they can still put together a 6 fighter warband and can absorb the points bumps on Hrothgorn's Mantrappers so combined with the trend to smaller warbands they are serviceable.
I actually havent given him much thought due to not being available in matched play - the fighter is real good thats for sure but you probably want to combo him with something like a Questor Soulsworn for the extra free move.
Somehow we totally forgot they were a faction! I think that they are largely the same; Medusas and the Krone are real good, and they have 65 point chaff which is serviceable. I'd put them somewhere in C tier - much better then the dreaded Claws of Karanak!
Just played 2 games of my NH vs Sacrosanct and I can finally kill those tanks without trading half of my warband for one dude. That triple can really spike the damage of the NH.
Yeah I've been playing them alot recently after the update and am very happy with how they are doing. Its amazing what a couple of minor changes can do to a warband
Hahahah! Iron Golems as the new kings of warcry?! Noaaah I don´t think so, but really fun video, Actually by knocking them to A we are in a much healthier place now. I also think SBGL should still be in A, the abilities are greeeat still!
We need to wait to see ofc. The thing about SBGL is that they just have so many random bladeborn units that they can always put something good onto the table regardless the cost of the basic guys
There are a few genuinely cool ones like Tarantulos, Corvus Cabal, etc but alot of them are just a whole bunch of buff guys supported by other buff guys. It's hardly inspirational XD

I think that the fact that they had to put our a ruling on it shows that both interpretations were valid under the rules framework. Though no such problems now :)

You can blame toast for that! That being said, because the teleport is unlocked now there might be some scope to allying the leader into other warbands with minions
@@OffMetaMusings I saw a comment somewhere about that - there's apparently only a small handful of Chaos fighters with the Thrall runemark in Chaos. So it's cool if you want to sling Nurglings about the board but of limited use otherwise. Despite this I did manage to defeat the Jade Obelisk with Cypher Lords 2-0 in a couple of casual games at the weekend. I can now see the issues with balancing them, they are incredibly flimsy but if you happen to be playing the right sort of missions then teleport can be incredibly impactful.
