If you can, you HAVE TO stop at Virginia Beach Antique Mall, upstairs is called Toymeister. Largest collection of 80s nostalgia I’ve ever seen, and it’s all for sale! Plan to spend a while in there though. Worth it. It’s Heaven. 😊🙌
I really am gonna have to start responding to some of these topics in a video form. Love the LIVE idea! I’m going for a once a week video schedule myself. Halloween is a top 10 favorite all time. I love Halloween 2,3. But in terms of series? I LOVE all the F13 films and it is my favorite horror series.
I have always said this too. If you feel your collection needs some representation of an iconic toyline, just get the main good guy and the main bad guy. That's why I have Bravestarr and Tex Hex, no interest in others in that line, but it needed to be in my collection.
Your Beefcake story reminds me of my Million Dollar Man story a couple of weeks ago. It was a sports card convention so the focus wasn’t on wrestling. I had a coupon for a free signature valued less than 40$. I walked around for a bit then went to see him. He was gone even though he was still there for an hour. They told me he went to the back. I think there was no one in line and he didn’t feel like waiting for nobody. They brought me to the back and he gave me a signed photo he was selling. Didn’t really say a word. I actually said the same thing you said « thanks for making my Saturday afternoons memorable » or something. He didn’t really say anything. Again, he doesn’t owe us anything, but it’s not like he was busy. I didn’t ask for a photo with him because the feeling was off.
