I would like to see Adam Lambert as a judge - he has sold millions of albums, has won dozens and dozens of awards all over the world - front man for the iconic band QUEEN (just celebrated their 40th anniversary) and his contestant WON the X-Factor his first time as judge. He is, in my opinion, better qualified than any of the above.

If you actually watch the show these 3 judges have great chemistry and don't treat the contestants like crap. They are very fun. These are many stupid negative comments

Heres who I think should possibly judge: Adele, Rhianna, Jojo, Toni Braxton, Bruno, etc...But if not them then I want the 3 original judges back Paula, Randy, and Simon!!!
Sweet Lime She isn't fake, she is always honest and she is her authentic self. Wearing a lot of make up doesn't mean that you're fake. Make up is a decoration, just like outfit. She isn't ashamed of how she looks without make up, she showed it a lot of times. In her livestream she said that you don't hide behind make up, you just have fun with it. You can don't like her style and what she wears, that's your opinion. But it's her real style, nothing fake. Yeah, she doesn't have formal education, but she is open minded. Even when she says something stupid, she wants to educate herself. She gives people joy and good energy. If you watched her livestreams, her concerts, her speeches, you would know it. She helps people with her music, she is humble and she has a kind heart. Don't jugde someone if you don't know them
I assumed they were saying that Katy is the first female aftist to go diamond, and that is absolutely correct. You can even search it for you to believe. These judges are there to get paid the millions and to get free publicity for their future albums. Why do you think so many people want this job? It brings the judges back on feet in the music industry.
Why didn't they mention Fantasia. She won American Idol as well. and Im so glad there is a generation and genre of judges where the judging is not biased but fair and balanced. and they all have great chemistry. Lionel Richie is a true Legend. He ALREADY has the paychecks to prove it.
No disrespect to Katy, but she isn't the first artist in history to go DIAMOND. None of her albums are diamond certified. Maybe they mean digital singles and streaming.
Terrance J. Griffin correction she is the first artist in the world to have 3 diamond songs. Lady Gaga follows her with two alongside a few other artist. But no one has ever hit 3 diamond singles except for Katy
I wish they would have a spinoff American Idol for contestants of American Idol and the Voice that featured people who finished in the top four or five on the shows. Now that there are 15 seasons of American Idol and 13 seasons of the Voice, there are plenty of contestants to choose among. I believe that would be even more entertaining because of the level of talent that would be featured.
The reason why The Four is doing so well, to me, it is because they have judges that are super real with the contestants just the same way as Simon and Randy were on Idol. Remember Randy is an A&R person and Simon is a Record Executive, both good at spotting talent. That's the way the original Idol was and you have Paula, who was a choreographer, also great at spotting talent. The Four reminds me a lot of that. Diddy, an artist and Record Exec, DJ Khaled a record producer, and idk who the other guy is, but he's a song writer I think, all keep it real with the contestants, while you have Meghan Trainor who is the compassionate one like how Paula was. They are spotting real talent and everyone is liking this show cause of the diverse talent. Unlike Idol, it stirred away from the contestants and it became more about the judges. They really shouldn't have placed these 3 as judges. They need strong judges who are huge in the music industry behind the scenes, not celebs. Then the focus will be on the contestants. Also Idol became more about country singers and "cute boys with guitars" then it did about the diverse talent it had in the last 10 years. After 2008 It started to die down with that.
I really like honesty of the judges. It seems like they have some sort of common ground, but not a foundation of it. It will come as they learn about each other and differences in themselves. It will be an interesting season. Also, I'm really excited to see new talents.
Season 12 was by far the worse, not only because of the feud but because it was rigged so only a female could win. Not to mention, that those fake standing O's were pathetic too.
I guess the definition of "farewell" changed. Wasn't last season the Farewell Season. Haven't actually watched the show since Scotty McCreery's season.
I’m pissed I’ve grown up watching this show! And I adored the judges back with Simon, Paula and Randy!❤️ Then I loved having Steven Tyler and Jlo but my by far favorite was the past couple years Harry, Jlo, and Keith made that show amazing!😆👌😭these new judges don’t even know each other they just shoved a bunch of stars together and said “Good luck”! Like the only reason I would watch is Katy of but I still probs won’t. I miss the old judges soooooo much!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭HARRY!❤️❤️❤️❤️
What is interesting is that among the "winners" they mentioned at the top, two (Daughtery and Hudson) were losers. But that's how powerful this show became - you don't have to win to become a huge star. Kellie Pickler, Daughtrey, Adam Lambert, Katherine Mcphee, Jennifer Hudson, even BUCKY from season 5 did reasonably well! Pia Tuscano sang at the Kennedy Center, Clay Aiken had his own TV specials and almost became a Senator. Does anyone but me remember Melissa McGhee? Her net worth is over $1 million, and she sells out small venues all over the country. think every Idol contestant should make a yearly pilgrimage to Kelly Clarkson's house to thank her - because I think that if she had tanked, American Idol would have been little more than "Star Search" (if anyone can still recall that show) But Kelly showed that Idol could produce superstars.

Absolutely got the shits on with Lionel - he was supposed to be touring Australia (Perth Sept 20) and I had tickets from Great Nan, Nan, Mum and daughter and he cancelled 3 weeks before and rescheduled for March 18 - he has no loyalty to his fans
