Hi! My name is Christopher Odd and I’ve been playing video games on the internet for a few years. I really enjoy a variety of games but generally lean towards games with a unique and engaging story (Bioshock, The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077, The Last of Us etc), strategy/roguelike games (XCOM 2 War of the Chosen, Darkest Dungeon, etc), and RPGs (Dark Souls, Elden Ring, Dragon Age, etc). Of course, I am always looking for great indie games too!

Pretty sure you can charge the main cannon to shoot further. Probably would've helped out a lot this run.

@@dabedon Pretty sure that's because he held down the button to fire the machine gun, but accidentally pressed and held the artillery button.

Looking at the Dev notes it seems you can hold the button down for the artillery to increase the range of the shot. overall it seems like a lot of fun. hope the Tesla dome is just as fun.

41:39 moment stressed me out. Man, I don't remember the last time I sat down and watched someone's playthrough, especially from start to end. Thank you for such a cool run. The tree definitely didn't drop 'fruits' before. The game has come such a long way. It's amazing how much love the dev has for their creation. The skull shape when the relic blows up is also new! Wow, I haven't played the game for so long.

You sure you couldn't just have shot further by holding the "shoot" button? That's pretty much common game knowledge for all those things with firing arcs! Not only that, the mortar explosions do AoE. I think you never tried if you could hit the "elks" with the blast.

I can't believe how enjoyable it actually is to watch the Dome agian!!! Besides, that was just too great. I got caught up by my Lamplighters League's hype and took longer than needed to watch this one. But now I can't wait to see the other new Dome. So for most of the domes it hasn't been as big a struggle, but the rotation to fight ground enemies is real. I noticed that if you step out of the dome, it re-sets to straight up immediately. @christopherodd do you think that can be exploited for faster rotations? By hopping out when its at one extreme and then hopping in again might be faster than just straight rotation?

The most efficient digging pattern is the 2 wide rows! I hate missing even one tiny thing~ You're doing great tho Odd! You're much better at the game than I am 😂

Okay odd some advice and trivia about bees. When bees go out looking for pollen/nectar they will never check the flowers close to the hive. They start as far away as possible and become heavier the closer they come back to the hive, which is the most efficient and fastest. That's also one of the reasons why there is no point planting flowers next to a hive. The other being that bees only collect from one species of plant per run to cross-pollinate.

The random drilling is making my soul cry. 3 wide vertically down from the dome, then 2 rows of undrilled ground between drilled rows. And drill all ground around the map edga. 😂

No. Factually this isn't the best way. It's good if you want to get every resource, but the goal is to get resources back to your base as quickly as possible.

Watching both Lockless's videos and then watching Odd's video really shows how inexperienced Odd is under the Dome.

When you get more experienced you learn that the iron (which is the most important resource) spawn diagonally from each other so think triangle shapes. Until you get a gadget that helps you find resources better you should check on angles not dig like you're suggesting which is a waste of time. It ends up looking kind of random to the untrained eye but it works!

u´ll probably do it different anyways, but leaving not more than 2 spaces between the "mining strips" let´s u scout everything. i will never miss any ores, water or other stuff.

While true, that's not the most efficient way to do it. It's not so much about getting every resource, but getting them quickly for upgrades.
