prior to the nerfs announced in korea, snow powder (눈가루) released a guide (completely in Korean), where he talked about a build that has the highest potential damage output. the gems were as follows: DMG- asura, eye of the storm, explosive fist, falling star, spiral uppercut, zaffre nova CD- eye of the storm, explosive fist, spiral uppercut, brawl king advance, and the last cooldown he said was preference- either falling star or crater strike. He opted for crater strike. He also went full damage tripods. 1-1-1 on zaffre nova. I'd highly recommend AGAINST going 1-1-2 on zaffre if you plan on putting a dmg gem on it. Even with full damage tripods and dmg gem, the skill only contributes to around 3-7% of our damage (depends on how often you can hit the head with the full attack up close). The dmg difference from running zaffre or obliteration was little to no dmg difference even in trixion (about 1 mil dps diff), but the biggest reason koreans take zaffre nova is because of the multi hit mechanic in echidna G2, and having the need to free people in general. iirc, there is also another build where people take off cooldown from crater strike and put it on zaffre instead. They also take cd from spiral uppercut off and put it on falling star. Not too familiar with this build however.

For further clarification, the reason he prefers the CD gem on Crater Strike is because dropping the CD gem from Falling Star makes it's cooldown about the same as explosive fist, and he prefers chaining them together.

I feel like going 1-1-1 makes more sense when you have full 10s and thats why everyone on loawa has it, meanwhile when you have lvl 10 asura and a bunch of lvl 9s and event gems you might aswell just use 1-1-2 and get the reduced cd because it doesn't depend on what level gems you have, instead of playing 1-1-1 with like a lvl 7 dmg gem on zaffre that will still be doing low damage and not getting the cd benefit

If your doing 112 on nova your better off just putting the dmg on a different skill. But if your doing 111 sure but shifting the dmg to a class where its already identity focused on dmg still wouldnt shift it as much. For example like surge blade even if you put dmg gems on blitz rush, blade dance, and earth cleaver those three skills still bearly does anything for dmg squeeze to a non crit and non back atk surge. In asuras case outside of identity the only main two skills that does any real meaningful dmg push is explosive fist and eye of the storm that just has to hit frontal atk. Im still gonna do both 112 and 111 depending on the fight and still keeping to 5 dmg gems cause its just an option of either do you want to only focus on landing 3 main heavy hitters or have to aim 5 skills in the front.

I was already running this build since event gems made it really easy to swap. I never found it too clunky to play tbh, and honestly didn't feel it took significantly longer to go into sura state. it's not like you can always go into sura mode and get at least 80% head attacks so might as well try and pop it when it's an ideal window.

How is the Zaffre 111 hitbox? One thing I like about Zaffre 112 is that it lingers when it hits the target. The 111 seems to travel a little farther. It's not cruel fighter mentality, but I like the utility that 112 brings. The multi hit is useful for the basment snake + medusa mech. I also like how the cd reduction applies on invincible enemies.

So for 111 it does a slow travel through instead of 112 but 112 stays in place so if the team mate is trapped 113 will actually stay in place to free however 111 does travel forward on contact so it doesn't give a good break from imprisoned.

i see in this video that u jus use asura state basically as soon as it comes up and also while not having full adrenaline stacks but you really gotta wait for known windows where she will not be moving to maximize ur dps on sura. for example the hearts mech, or the inside safe circle explosion mech or after the mural mech or the target bloom / stagger mech.

I think he is justnot familiar with the class playstyle in general i believe, doesnt use self defense to create windows or use its excessive mobility. Doesnt cycle skills correctly for building meter etc but i dont think we should be overly critical as no-one watches this channel because of good hands so its whatever. Its more of a news and personality streamer/community channel. Edit: reading back it could be misinterpret as not so nice but i really didnt intend it as so, just some pointers plus why i still enjoy his content regardless:3

@@frostfour668 Rather than being unfamiliar with the class its more of unfamiliarity with the fight itself. All of my prog was done on my striker so in terms of actual hours spent on this gate with my Breaker, I probably have less than 1 hour of experience. So its constantly balancing - Do I have enough time to stack all 6 stacks of adrenaline? If I stack it and the boss moves, when is my next window where I can ensure a good long window for my Asura State? If it's too long, I could have built up another Asura State in the meantime. Its just mostly around calculating what the window of opportunity I have for the Asura state that causes some of those lower stacked adrenaline moments. I also only run Adrenaline 1, since I run Master Set so as long as Master stacks are max, the missing Adrenaline stacks aren't as big of a DPS loss as an Adrenaline 3 build. Running Master also means you need to be wary of how many attacks you tank, which is why greeding becomes a bit more tricky as well and you can't just tank everything. That being said this video was definitely not supposed to be a "perfect run" or anything near that. It was just simply used to showcase that this is a strong and viable build.

@@MisoxShiru Sura breaker main here on hm, also running master, i didnt mention adrenaline myself but there is no reason to ever lose adrenaline on sura. i recommend dhaha aboves advice, two poor sura windows arent worth one good one. so make sure you guarantee at least 80% of it to FA and under buffs. One of the main things if u want advice really is just realising where you can use your defensive fighting to maximum effect, we are the greediest bois there is and are required to be to get the most out of our class. You really can tank so much with it and since master has an icd of losing stacks you are usually casting faster than you can lose them. Ofc maintain some logic during identity tanking as once it starts you can only add back one stack. Edit: i want to add ofc that needs more experience on the fight and you have 1 hour as you said on breaker! :)

If it's too long, I could have built up another Asura State in the meantime." while true it is a matter of RNG unfortunately, since you will never know exactly when a good mech will come. but i would still suggest waiting for that one mech where you can have a good frontal asura attack since it is much more dps than two bad asura attacks. also, with the nerf that asura just got, waiting for a good mech for asura is not as a big of a dps loss as when asura was not nerfed. and then there's master. although master has a higher ceiling, as a front attacker you WANT to tank certain patterns, but you will lose dps if you lose stacks. that, along with adrenaline stacks, is quite stressful imo. which is also why most breakers just go critical so you don't have to worry about such things. just my two cents. i watch almost all of your videos and they are great man, please keep it up!

How is it possible you don't auto chainbreak your sura state during atro, it caps your attack speed. Is your input too slow? it should do two finishers every time.

With the nerfs to Asura finisher reducing its dmg by 20% I don't think its worth it anymore.

@MisoxShiru I think it still would. Double punching was a 14% dmge increase over one. So theoretically that 14% is just reduced to 11ish% more now

@@rammanjames I did some testing and it still is a dps increase but before there was no real dps loss for messing it up and now there is. So if you are good at it then go for it but if you aren't then it will be an overall dps loss. Also it extends the amount of time you spend in the Sura State so probably for a boss like Echidna only use it when you know u have a long enough window to do it.

@@MisoxShiru If you have yearning, feast and peyto wine, doing sura at maximum input speed, you will chain break into two finishers automatically. its not even a choice really.
