After seeing just ONE lap, I'm already in love with the new track build, Darrell! Surpassing expectations, so MUCH potential for fantastic B-roll footage between races, and there's enough of the old build present here for that touch of familiarity in the diorama!! The track itself? Shining, *SHINING* with all that high tech craftsmanship that Spool Heads has delivered to an ever growing number of venues looking to improve looks _and_ performance! Zero notes, _full send!_ I earnestly look forward to hearing different sections not yet named to get their own monikers as we return time and again for more racing greatness! We missed you terribly as you took this much needed hiatus to re-imagine the Bay City Speedway for a new generation and direction in diecast racing, and this day counts as one of the most _TRIUMPHANT_ returns I've seen a host make!

Beautiful opening shot of the cars racing across the horizon through the vineyard. The tight turns and crossovers get the action going right away. The hill is cool and seems to separate the faster cars from the slower ones with the leaders shooting for the hole shot. Wide high banking turns make for some really fast racing down the straight aways through the Bay city. The iconic red bridge and brightly painted house's are instantly recognizable. The track, turns and action get tighter at the end of the race. Very exciting. It's a long track with the cars maintaining top speeds the length of the race. Awesome job and great design. It's going to be a sweet season.

Not sure what to say or how to start. This is incredible!! The track looks so Top notch from set up to performance is top notch. You didn't miss a beat being gone for a bit. Epic track. I think the racing would be better appreciated if you played it at half speed. It’s just a bit too fast to follow and your commentary could be even richer if you had a little more time to make it.

Such a different style of track. I’ve been watching your videos over the past couple of weeks, and I liked the way you played the other track out. But this one is so much cooler.😎 With all the Pool Heads track pieces that change lanes and have uphill part of the track… wow, such a nice touch. I love how you included your sister with the Painted Ladies. Hey love your channel! Been subbed for a while now! Thanks for commenting! Your track is beautiful! This track took about 5 months to complete. But keep in mind that’s with a full time job and a son in HS sports so… you find time to work on the track when you can. Back in the day I started recording the chase cam with a GoPro. The quality was fine except I just couldn’t really see the cars well on a tiny screen. Plus the deleting and scrolling were just so much easier with the iPhone. The other static cameras around the track are GoPro though for sure.

Ah thank you!! Yeah I feel you. Took me like 6-9 months for mine balancing FT job and kid stuff. Thanks for the camera info. Yeah I might switch to high end iPhones for everything for simplicity. Need to save on time some how. So long as the quality is equal or better compared to GoPro. I could go 4K 60FPS too with the iPhones

Great new track! Attention to details on the diorama is intense. Do you have any plans for the finish line area?

Hey thanks! I appreciate your appreciation to detail! 🤣 My only plans for the finish area were to add more foliage. Grass, trees, dirt, bushes. I’m absolutely open to ideas though! Thanks for checking us out! Hoping to drop another video in the couple days. Life.

Thank you for the comment and so much for asking about the canopies! I’ve actually been meaning to make a video, but perhaps I’ll turn it into a commercial on the next video, about how everyone can get their OWN personalized canopy, as well as have one on my track while you have a casting in the current race. This track is WAY too fast. Turned play speed to .5 for a race and it was more pleasurable to watch. But then I noticed the camera work is part of the problem; with a single camera whipping back and forth. Race playback has better fixed camera positions and those need to be edited into the live race as much as possible.
