Hera’s Omicron is going to be broken with this team in Territory Wars. Extra Speed, Max Health, Counter Chance, Backup Plan going to the entire team, and the stacking offence with each Special ability used will be NUTS. Maybe Ninth Sister Omicron lead will have to be used to prevent Phoenix steamrolling Reva? Very excited to see how Rex works with other teams
@@commandersteve7644 Ninth Sister Omicron lead (stacking Tenacity every time the enemy gains bonus TM), GI, Reva, Seventh Sister, and someone else. It will probably be much worse as a team though, so I can see CG nerfing this
Captain Rex is one of the most recent fun yet "simplistic" characters that CG has added to the game. He's honestly great. Phoenix is finally amazing, he lifts useless Clones in 3v3, and has 4 different tags of important synergy. Honestly a 10/10 character for me
I think one of my favorite things about this team now is that you can pick and choose your team, need more tankiness, bring Zeb, need more damage, bring gun lady, need an extra dispell bring chopper. Like you can mix and match the team depending on what you are facing instead of "this is the team"

9.9/10 character in my opinion. My only complaint about Rex is that besides stunning his 1st special doesn't do all that much (which is fine ofc looking at the rest of the kit) I just wish It dealt some impressive damage, its a huge freaking rifle shot afterall 😂
I hope they include Commander Wolffe and Gregor since they were partners with him during Rebels. Plus, Cham Syndulla and a reformed Agent Kallas could lead a second Phoenix team! If Captain Rex can beat Reva, a new team should rival GLs!

In 3v3 grand arena I think echo could be a really good part of the team because he’s assisting whenever red and the other clone (probably Cody) uses their basic ability leading up to a lot of armor shred
Good point, then you could throw Wrecker or Omega in with Shaak and ARC to make 4 clone lineups: GAS, Shaak, BB, and Cody/Rex. I wonder if ARC's turret counts as an assist for the armour shred?
What I find interesting is while he has a rebel and rebel fighter tag NOTHING in his kit actually mentions either of these things. It is all specifically calls out to Phoenix and Clone Troopers.
Personally a big fan of how they implemented Captain Rex being able to be plugged into many teams. I prefer characters that could be used in multiple ways rather than them releasing characters to make an entire one shot team.
When I did the marquee event for Rex I got into a stalemate with the 3v3 clones vs bossk fight. I ended up getting over 100 armor shreds on bossk before I quit. I did it again with a focus on just keeping bossk stunned and took out zam and that worked so much better
The stream was great! And those limited attempts is why I'm almost always against 3 star testing on non-leaders. It would have sucked wasting 3-5 of those very valuable squad arena attempts on a 3 star rex that might get AoE'd and no longer help a team.
im gonna start gearing up phoenix slowly, but out of fear for a nerf to captain rex, i will not be gearing them too much until rex officially becomes f2p farmable, by that point if they haven't nerfed him when the "common folk" can get him, i will gladly relic the entire team
Yo what if cg makes a new asoka character that is phinox Era so that this team does a complete 180 in power edit because I realized this would make sense because cg would make money on people needing to gear phinox because they were never used
I really didn’t want to burden myself with studying the new additions being added to SWGoH since a few years ago. I deleted my og account because I got really frustrated at the overwhelming amount of new content. I then got this game again and I am at least glad there is a bit more beginner accessible characters/teams to use. Also now I have to work back to where I was and; man I wish I had my *boba fett. I started playing the game initially in 2017 (under the ign 1719coolred, ofc it’s gone) and had maxed out my favorite characters the best I could at gear 12 (such as boba fett, tarkin, Vader, bastilla, etc) and while it wasn’t perfect I had functional teams. And then the introduction of galactic legends characters came along and slowly but surely I had now way of dealing with the old republic Jedi teams, revans, etc. eventually I had enough of losing to gimmicks I (thought) could never be dealt with. *Boba fett is commonly used in grand arena I notice, in the upper thousands, I feel like I may have caused a rise in boba fetts usage but that’s just me Tldr, regret deleting this game, but watching these guides has helped me understand this game a whole lot better
I'd love to see this team battle Jawas cause if Jawas win then Phoenix is kinda useless on defense (not like you would want to put a Reva counter on defense, but not everyone have her unlocked)
I hope they do something to stop them countering Reva. That’s bad for the game. Guilds work hard for the reva shards, and it’s a ton of investment to be beaten by one of the oldest teams in the game and a marquee.
I've always thrown my G11 Phoenix team in back wall in GAC. Even in Kyber 3. So this is perfect for a surprise in the back where people generally drop some trash/lower geared teams.
That is a very relative question. Depends what you are facing and their levels. All I know is I was punching above me relic and mod levels vs high relic teams. Similar to how Bad Batch and Troopers can work at low levels.
@@AhnaldT101 Yes I dont have the resources to make it a full relic team but some teams can be viable on relic 11-12 like the ones you mentioned. (I am kyber 3)
Love you library on Rex I’m watching it all.. it’s helped a lot my guild can’t tell ‘‘em the best phoenix team but I’m pretty sure you have answered that through this video.. I’ll let you know how it goes
Rex is a beast I did the 5 month grind to get 7 stars spent a month for gear 12, now relic 5.. I emphasise head a beast I’m just having trouble with the mods.. I’m assuming speed speed speed like every character speed seems to be where it’s at.. any time on mods because it seems to be the key!
Im one of the only people out there that has phenoix all on relic 7 except captain rex, I hope we get 3 more phenoix members so we have 2 full phenoix teams
This makes me want to relic Phoenix. Maybe I’ll find the time after Leviathan, especially if they’re required for GL Leia. But I already have all their zetas (had a ton extra and used them to power up their ships)
How well does he do against Thrawn (both teams and the Journey Guide)? After unlocking Thrawn, I've only been half heartedly going for it given how my main team is Jedi and how I've previously had issues with the final round.
Would you by chance be updating the f2p farming guide to include jabba and rex now? Also, is it worth to go zori without committing to a rey GL team. Or if your going to build it the zori team, might as well go rey?
I already have sabine's zeta but it's the only phenix zeta I have, as it really helped with getting thrawn. So two more zetas and they become useful. Unfortunately my next two zetas are spoken for (finally got aphra and getting her three zetas).

Since yesterday ive favorited my phoenix and im thinking about gearing them up a little bit. Where im at in GAC them at g12 + rex at g11 should get some people off guard or even clear some teams on offense.
