2400 watts I’d buy it the previous 200 and 200 max only have 2000 and 2200 watts.

Something I'd like to know is.... if the ac200L is connected to solar and the unit depletes over night and shuts off will it wake itself and start to charge when the sun comes up? All the other bluetti stations do not. Thought they would have an update to fix that. So if I spend 8 grand on this with expansion batteries and it doesn't wake to charge if im not home thats a problem

That is definitely something I want to test; this Unit also has a time-of-day UPS. While connected to the grid, you can pick times you want to use the grid, and times you don't like peak hours. Also has a SOC minimum and maximum. Videos to come.!

Would it be possible to use the 48v 8amp and step down to 12v 30 amp so i can wire my bus build? If so how?

Great question. When the unit officially launches to the public hopefully there will be some clarification on what the plug can do.

Not directly. The plug is protected with data pins. Bluetti will provide a voltage regulator D40 that will output 12v20A to charge battery or to connect toa fuse box. With solar input it could output 12v30A. They won’t allow plugging a third party step down as the plug is directly connected to the BMS. So the max you will get is 12v20A with the D40 (if you don’t plug any solar). I don’t believe to a anderson cable that some reviewers were talking. There will be only a 48v cable to 48v to plug the d40. Bluetti won’t allow third party module.

How do you charge it at 2400w through a standard 120v outlet? Standard outlet is only rated for 15a, so thats not enough. As much as theyre advertising the "2400w input", it would be nice to know.

Great question. I mentioned in the video that the AC cord that comes with the unit is 14 gauge that can do 12A. FYI never run your load to the rated amps on the breaker. I also said in the video they have an optional twist lock cable to do the 2400W charging. Which is not your typical 15A plug on a 14/2 wire. Did you watch the whole video?

About 3/4 of the world run on 230V/50z, no problem charging at 2,4kW then. The only difference this unit will have in other markets are the AC sockets.

I also watched the video and had the same question. I think what he's asking is what the other end of the connector looks like. It's not real clear even on their website, but if you dig through the manual, that optional twist lock cable is rated at 30A and has a 30A plug on the other end. I have many Bluetti products and like them. I was excited to see this review and appreciate your time, thanks. My dislikes are, no Wireless charging pad, the proprietary A/C and PV input cables and not even the heavy cable is included. The cost, to them to include the larger cable instead of the smaller cable is less than a couple of bucks. My understanding is that you have to get a pass code, from Bluetti, to even allow the highest AC input (maybe to document for warranty?). Also, no 240 output. That is what I need to run my well pump. Price point is good, I like the capacity, and XT connectors. I also like the RV output connection, but I think my AC180 x 2 would be a better fit, @$649 each, delivers over 2300 Wh, 4 outlets on each and weighs only 35 lbs. I can also use same charging cable I have for every other solar power station I own. Keep up the great work!

15A. 500V @ 15A that's a 7,500W I don't think you'd be inside the realm of portable at that point. I disagree

@@Roll2Videos Inkorrekt EG4 Lux 6,000 Watt is only 50 pounds & and has dual MPPT rated at 500 volts each…. Growatt 6000 MIN XL also has Dual MPPT 550 volts @27.2 amps weights 23 Pounds……. My PowMR Solar 4arge Kontroller kan handle 160 volts at 15 amps on a 48 volt Battery 🔋 “2400 watts” weighs 3 pounds….. I am sure they kan put a 500 volt MPPT in this.

@@Roll2Videos It’s a 2400 watt inverter I kan run my entire 1600 Sqft house off of that & charging all the batteries to full in a 5 hour window of sun ☀️ 37V X10 Panels * 10A = 370 Volts Even if I only get 1/2 Radiance I am still over the voltage. I would like to see simulated Panel Power pumped into the MPPT and see how mu4 over voltage it kan handle.

@@theMekanik I think it's unnecessary. 90% of the people buying this won't even have an array over a couple hundred Watts. If somebody is going to spend the money to build that type of array they're probably going to have a larger system with server rack batteries

I’m wondering if it will charge an external 48V batter DC to DC charge it 480 watts…… I know there are many of us that would like to 48 volt DC applied to everything. Kars / Planes / Boats / Homes 🏡……. DC is where it’s at HVDC much more effisient than AC power. Easier tie multiple grids together……. I hate all this AC to DC to AC to DC to AC to DC………. Most of the Devices we have are DC powered and Solar is DC so why is it going from DC to AC back to DC…… it’s dumb even Electrik Vehicles Energy is DC yet we take sun power and change it into AC power to charge a DC an EV Battery 🔋🤣……… Everlanders konverted all his stuff to DC, Internet, Vacuums, Fridge, Satellite 📡

Does it die dual charging or insane 3 way recharging at the same time ? 😂 one test no body does most of the time is guitar and piano amp/ sound PA system/ for outdoor events as some lower quality inverter do produce great harmonic distortion but suck at filtering radio interference and that goes from the inverter to the PA system again ( I’m not referring to fan decibel noise level but the hiss and hum noise some power stations s inverters produce )

Unfortunately, I gave up trying to be a Rock star and don't have an amp 🤣 I will think of a way to replicate that. You can charge AC and PV simultaneously. I'm working on getting an 800W array so stay tuned 👍

Will that be needed every time you change from slow to the faster watts or once you get it , the app won’t ask again . How do we obtain such an password hehe of course just to have an Idea if it’s so complicated just keeping it regular

@@charlschuck6 In the APP, you can adjust from 1-12A AC without a password. When you go above 12A AC, you will need a password from Bluetti customer service. I haven't tested it, but once it's set, let's say, 16A, I would think it will save that setting until it is changed. Good question. I will try that.

@hobotech does but it doesn’t look like they sent him one for review or the Anker F3800 which only has 60volt MPPT input so dumb they aren’t putting 500V input in these days into these lager All In Ones Solar Generators…… Grid Tie Kapability would be nise too so I don’t have to buy their ridiculously over prised proprietary expansion batteries.

They should be making 48 volt applianses and DC powered homes 🏠 the majority of Everything we have is DC anyways and it’s all being konverted to AC at the plug or in the devise.

@@theMekanik DC power doesn't transmit very well over long distances is my understanding. Back in the stone age telephone used to transmit on DC but would have to have a substation to boost the power every so often

Bluetti has soooo many systems and most are pretty good too. Since hysolis blew up the market with Apollo I hope the rest of the manufacturers will start dropping prices on their units.
