@@bassitos I don't think it's a coincidence that during 2020+, a year when used car sales and prices were starting to go downhill because of COVID, and the year the G80 M3 was announced and released E46 M3s had a huge leap in demand and price. E39 demand has already been rising in recent years. People will see this and it's not going to make it worse, for the E39 and likely other generations of M5 On the M2 side of things there's only been 2 generations of M2 including the current one. And the 1M already has a huge used price because of what it is

@@Neil_GhoshI should also highlight how what bmw has done with the v8 hybrid in the m5 and all the weight issues associated with it; is exactly what Mercedes were afraid of and hence put in a 4 cylinder with their peak hybrid technology to create a well engineered weight to power ratio that feels like an AMG
This is a valid criticism. Everyone complains about the looks every new gen im tired of it. 5 years down the line ill put money people will love the look AS ALWAYS. However, this being heavy is not a subjectivity and it is indeed very unacceptable.

Bmw probably did the best they could to keep the v8, but the numbers are crazy the weight increase is absolutely nuts. I’ll stick to my E60 M5 and F90.

How are enthusiasts supposed to pay more money for a car with worse performance in every category, and not just a little worse, a lot worse.
As a BMW fan, this is a ridiculous car. Worst M5 ever made, it is sad to see what we have come to in terms of design. Worse headlights, worse steering wheel (flat bottom steering wheel which is a VAG ripoff) and finishing with alloy wheels which are not forged. LMAO

So happy I'm old & 20th century. BMW have been expanding for 60 years & had record 2023, now (as they've done in the past with i3 & i8) they give their engineers & designers carte blanche to do something unprecedented that has NO competition in free market. Unfortunately they also have 40 million trolls, who can't have seen G90 & will never drive it, so bring on the hate! This car is stunning piece of work regardless, curious to see what actual lap times turn out to be.
As a longtime BMW owner and industry automotive engineer, this is a FAIL.....hybrid is useless. Either go full electric or full gas, in between is pointless on your flagship M car. You increase the number of failure points by mating 2 different power generation methods, and your customer reviews 2-5 years from now will reflect it and plummet sales numbers. Looks good imo love the interior too the hybrid part is what kills it for me i can only afford these when there 3-4 years old I don’t want to deal with that technology out of warranty
