I swear to god they always way over nerf and destroy a character or way overbuff and create a problem I've never seen a patch and not questioned everything about it lol Twice was ALREADY one of my most consistent to win characters just from the gamma>beta combos. I'm gonna be nuts.

I've been playing the game a ton and while I'm not the best at it, I still love it because of how fun it is. Hope you keep making these awesome uploads. imo Twice is is most likely second best Rapid due to having to build up his clone army which could go bad if he loses them early but otherwise he's one of the best
Incredible video as always! So glad you mention updates cause the game doesn't have a patch notes section 😂 Did you know dabi is weak to twice? His alpha can't track clones, including player character clones so his only choice is B, Y and basic attacks 😂
It was just yesterday that I was saying that they would NERF his Alpha to deal with his Beta clone precision combined with the player 's own use making it too oppressive. This is literally the opposite of what I expected. I'm interested in trying this out and seeing how much it negates the dependence on snowballing your effectivity with copies. Maybe this was done due to a lack of prominence among players or data indicating that his Alpha is neglected by players. I imagine this affects the Quirk Skill upgrade path priorities in a big way, as pushing for mobility expansion through the Gamma is no longer as necessary to keep yourself safe. He's basically really flexible on that front now. To be frank, I'd have expected Gamma damage to be buffed more than anything else.
Ohhh, I won my first two matches in a row today playing twice. Had 3 clones and started snowballing, taking the whole lobby down with an army. I didn't notice the buff lol thought I was getting better with him.
The match starts I hit a good box then a small maybe half a second frame delay and I was one shot by twice and his clone from above I was like how is that possible
He just came out and they alr ready buffing him perfection ngl in ur oppion what hero should be added next since they just did a villain or villain if u want also anyonce else notice twice jumps like froppy
i think his gamma also got buffed it looks like it hits people from a bit further away now cause it was a tad hard to use now i could be completely wrong cause i only get one game a day as him but it looks much further
Feels relatively the same from I’m testing in training mode but it could be a change. I wish we had patch notes to just confirm changes like this instantly 😭
character idea 9: mirio togata class: rapid speed: kirishima jump height: endeavor hp:300 gp:250 melee: jap cr alpha: sinks into the ground to deliver an uppercut after a time has elapsed, imagine kirishimas alpha but without the multi hit, you basically let go of the button when you want to rise out of the ground, he cant be hit but there is a ripple effect to show where he is so it isn't completely broken. Which is why I think he should have the fastest wall climb after lida, just sink into the ground go inside a building and pop out at the top ammo: 2 at level 1 ,3 at level 4 and 4 at lvl 9 damage: 85 at lvl one at 100 at lvl 9 beta: partial permeation, all of his body (except his feet) become permeable, he is fully invulnerable but can't hit anyone, ammo: lasts around 5 seconds at level 1 and around 10 seconds at 9 gamma: falls into the ground to then shoot himself back up in the chosen direction, no hit box ammo: 2 all levels special action: pickup emotes: power! thing with crossed arms and 2 thumbs up
I've already been hunting twices in my matches, but now it's on sight. Of course the one character I skip gets buffed to having the strongest alpha in the game 🙃
Aight I'm gonna say it: HE WAS FINE WITH LOW DMG. Not complaining tho he was already so much fun to use, can't imagine now. Gotta hop online and try it.
Probably, tbh I wasn’t expecting any changes with him but at least piloting him is even more fun. Didn’t have too much of a problem with the Twices I came across but I’ll need to play more for that
@@CharismaticDemon_ Twice isn't that hard to deal with if I'm being honest. Regardless of the character that you pick, just pressure him and attack him while he runs away.

Bro ive been getting sniped by Twices with aimbot ish aim its almost insta kill from max hp to cloned in seconds, they be fighting game air combo juggling my poor frog, those Momo were having Tea till you showed up lol

whoever complained about Twice damage before, had literally never seen a good Twice, like holy shit. Twice was already quite stupid due to his SA and crazy combo potential, but he was kinda lacking good mobility. Buffing his damage further is such a stupid idea. Most people I know already complained a lot about his bots having aimbot and all this stuff, that its super annoying to deal with and it does too much damage for having straight up aimbot, and now its even worse. Peak decisionmaking from the devs once more
I do like the buff twice got as his dmg was low so twice was not great at 1v1s. Twice is a fun character but his low dmg meant you lost more with him. The new buffs definitely addressed that however i do think his alpha may have been buffed too much i think it should start at 25dmg per knife but scale to 35 rather than 38. I do think twice since its a burst so most times u will not hit every knife at mist u hit 2 u do wanna get atleast 60 to 70 dmg as most characters that have range can do this. All i think rn is his gamma hitbox needs to be larger I mean its bad it barely hits it literally clips through ppl doing 0 dmg.
Gonna be honest with you, idk if this buff is gonna stick. The whole point was that you could basically double his damage with the clone, so giving him high damage wasn't necessary. Plus you have the special action clones. It'll probably be fine, but it seems weird. Edit: Also Twice's knives don't cause knockdown, so you can't hope I-frames will give a respite after getting comboed for 300 dmg.
Nah that was my entire thought process on twice too tbh. Him as a solo character was weaker then the others but his gimmick, overwhelming enemies with his clones made up for it with strength in numbers. The Dabi shadow nerf was reverted so this change being reverted too isn’t impossible. We’ll see tho
@@CharismaticDemon_ Like I said, i don't think the buff is bad, I just feel it goes against the core design of his move set. Plus he is a rapid (he should be a Technical). So it's not really his job to deal damage but be fast and hard to pin down.
I think a cool thing would be u can send out 10 clones but they only do like 5 per hit but it would mealt it'd just be awesome to see that lol Edit: by 5 per hit I meant a like instead of 117 it will be 25 it would be awesome 😂 (EXPERIMENTAL PURPOSES)
@CharismaticDemon_ well my team don't help I be saving them all the time with froppy and getting them out of tight spots its alot of work for a pretty new player 😆 🤣
