Visionary actually did a deck with Skip Demacia where he'd use Purify and some other Demacian silence-spells to remove the captured cards. It was hilarious!

22:00 not really sure I agree with rotating lurk. It leaves you no extra design space outside of just being able to make new lurk champs. I feel like a deck like lurk should almost always exist in standard as it’s a low deck build requirement for those that wish to focus more on piloting
I have mixed feelings about the starlit seer. On the one hand it buffs a unit, but on the other hand the seer itself doesnt apply any pressure or advance Sejuani's levelup condition.
I feel deep would have to rotate out first since we haven't seen much support for it recently. Lurk does still have a chance to get more support just not sure when.
I made one small change of removing one of the cards and placing Tuskraider in for it and now I'm consistently getting 30/31+ stats on Sejuani and it's so funny
22:16 don't you think it would be more interesting if instead of rotating Lurk, rotating the champs and some of the cards opening the way for different Lurk champions and deck, a Lurk Renaissance with a more refined view on the archetype in general
Rengar and Kha'Zix are prime candidates for some new lurk shenanigans, and I believe the LoR team could "re-invent" the archetype in a interesting way after all these years
Since both are "Shurimans", rotate Rek'Sai because she is just "MORE DAMAGE! MORE STEAM!", and as you said make lurkers that instead of gaining +1|+0 they gain interesting effects, maybe keywords, extra effects on summon, turn into spells like pyke, lurk spells that give a new spin to the concept, I believe Lurk can become something more interesting than SMORCing the opp and something that doesn't piss people off so much
so I agree with all your points but the underlying issue with lurk is that it's just a MUCH better deck if it can attack on turn 1. no matter what lurk cards get printed, they'll only activate their ability when the player attacks which will always mean attack token on odds is better. snapjaw swarm could be 1 mana but... that would create a lot of other issues lmao
I think Fiddle could work as a handtrap card or a lurker. I think Lurk could be healthier if it wasn't simply Shurima Bilgewater. Adding lurkers in Shadow Isles or Targon could possibly bring some variety
This is my own personal opinion: I don't like the introduction is being overlapped with the beginning of the first game. I feel like it is a bit overloaded. Granted, the beginning of the first game is not that exciting, you play your 1-drop, you press pass, everyone happy. But the introduction usually gets dragged over to turn 2, turn 3, turn 4 even, and I feel a lot of gameplay and possible commentary being ignored in the background. To me, the commentary in-game and the gameplay is as entertaining and interesting, sometimes even more than, the introduction itself and I don't like them being overlapped like this. Well, that's the end of my ranting, I'm sure Snnuy has his reasons to do this, whatever it is, I think it is justifiable. For now, I will keep being a regular viewer of Snnuy RU-vid videos but just skip the first 1 min or so lol.
