Hi Musta Fishing , can you tell me the Daiwa Saltist MQ 5000D-H is good quality , is it good for catching tailor on the beach or is it good for fishing on the beach and rock . Please let me know , Thank you for your time .
Hi my friend , the 5000 H will be ok for midesize fish , if you hook a decent one it will be hard to stop , if you go after trophy fish look for the Certate or saltiga . I have caught 5 to 6 kg Tunas on this reel with no problems , but this was from the boat
Yes mate it would be bad if not because the certate is around 400 dollars more, go to the daiwa website and compare the stat's and you will seecthere is big difference mate
I want a reel that is the best all around for inshore fishing (mostly targeting bottom fish, kelp paddies, tunas; and maybe some (very little) out shore trips. Should I get the 4000, or 5000? And also, are the size compared very slightly or is it very big?
@@Turtlemilk the 5000 has a higer line capacity so in case you hook a bigger fish you not running out of line , I use my set up mainly for the reef flats fishing and casting at smaller size tuna around the 5 to 8 kg mark , and the reel handle that very nice .
