I use mine for work . Being a Stonemason it's great for attaching the trailer too and picking up bits of stone from the quarry and being able to drive out without being stuck like I have in my Van. Brilliant for dog walks and great to take the kids and friends to school who sit there say nothing but can plug the phones in to charge up while there texting.
Absolutely fantastic review-objective, interesting, entertaining; far better than any car review ive seen on YT. Keep going mate..top channel-you deserve to go far!
Just bought one of these having had the RR Sport with same engine for near 3 years - new RRS pricing is crazy Defender not far behind it when specked up! Great review - very honest and a little grimey 😉👍. Now subscribed - keep em coming
Thanks Jason! I’ve got a 2008 Defender, really like the look of the new ones, albeit once depreciation kicks the prices. Thanks and look forward to the next video!
Bloody handsome brute (the car clearly) - if it wasn’t for the price I’d have one tomorrow (or 6-9 months or whatever the waiting list is) 😂😂 looks like a Tonka toy a bit like the Disco 3/4 - great blend of looks, capabilities and practicality.
Hi m8 good video. I would luv to get a new 110 but just too much of my hard earned, so I will keep my L322 just coming 10 years old now so should last at least another 10 years, hopefully. I need a 3.5 towing capacity so I am limited to big SUV's or big Ute's as the Aussies call them. So far the 4.4 diesel lump has performed very well with every task I have set it. I did get stuck in a very wet field on Sunday though had to wait until I could get onto cleaner grass to get off, but then that is what happens with old road tyres with only a few mm of tread left Oh yes and a trailer on the back. Even defenders were having trouble, those with none off road tyres at least.
Purpose defines what you get. This serves a purpose, very well. It is not the type of off-roader that Rubicon is ... apples and oranges. The commercial version of this is fine for farming... for over-landing consider the new Grenadier.
I’m not surprised! The Grenadier is cool but will fall into that “too expensive” argument. Hence why I think if a farmer wants a rough and ready cheap commercial, they’ll go to the pickup truck market. Which, they already have over the years. But most farmers I know have Land rovers, because they’re minted. Haha
sorry but no.....the new defender is really the new discovery. The real new defender is the Ineos Grenadier, a car that should've been built by land rover.
What’s the price of the Grenadier though? I get that the new Defender is close to a Disco as well of course. But let’s be honest how many Granadiers will sell vs the new Defender?
the problem is that they named it the defender while destroying its legacy and tried to sue ineos for filling that gap they chose to abandom......very unwise move. They should've called it defender 2.0 or something else and brought a real new defender.
