What a gem. She truly took it upon herself to educate the children left behind while enduring a lot. I remember her say that her biggest concern was kids left young and not educated. That’s a beautiful area to shed stress and recreate/rejuvenate while walking. Taking in the blissful beauty and cultural education. We’ve come a long way and thanks for that space.
Been awhile ever since i was last there. Mama Ngina has really changed i left when it wasn't furnished. That beautiful breeze... woow. I should be planning to go back have a reminiscent of the waterfront feeling. Nice piece.
This video brings memories to the places I used to visit mama ngina drive wow only God can judge the transformation and the memories that comes along with it I miss Kenya
Hi my dear, you done a very good snaps from Mombasa. Continue to do that to show other how's kenya is beautiful and there all welcome. Am from Mombasa too and I love Mombasa is Raha.
A very beautiful place indeed a place where the locals can walk and enjoy nice time. People should not leave trash it is so beautiful when everywhere you look looks clean. Keep it up Mombasa and always improve 👏
Watching from Livingstone Zambia home of the 7th wonder of the world Victoria falls. Looks like a nice place hope to visit soon. I have only been to Nairobi
This place has changed so much. I have gone back to Mombasa several times but just did not bother to go to this area. I used to do morning runs through Mama Ngina drive( we also called it light house) with my buddies every morning at 530am back in the 80's; having run ins with dogs to the occasionaly crossing paths with huge monitor lizards and the ever annoying black crows( Makurabu). Man, nostalgia is creeping in!
It used to be called Azania Drive. I remember the Oceanic hotel, and the public swimming pool where I learned to swim, in the 1960's. Wonder if its still there...
Mama Ngina park has always been a place for leisure resting, walking, jogging and riding. It is famous for its fried cassava and all manner of fried potatoes and pastries. The project was designed to support a 24-hour economy and its layout includes a new jetty for water taxis.
Your vlogs, your beautiful aura has influenced me to have a positive outlook towards life and I'm now newly excited about living after feeling lost and depressed since 2020 when everything went south. You have taken me out of a really dark place Livvy. I don't think you understand how great you are and the impact you have. Thank you Livvy ❤️. Stay blessed ❤️❤️❤️
good coverage of all the features of the waterfront. i was wondering when you started ikifika time ya prayers it might be inconvenient lakini nimeona everything was thought about and there's a mosque. mashallah. its the 2nd one i've watched in your channel and am encouraged to check out the others.
Thank you so much, Fawzia. The beautiful thing is, you can't walk for more than five minutes within Mombasa without seeing or finding a mosque. Thank you too for watching my videos. I am glad you enjoy them.😊
Jambo.. natamani sana Mombasa...lakini nzuri sasa barabara impia kama hii!!Nafurha kuangalia.. ...lakini gari mingi !!Asante.Ninatumaini nikurudi arakaraka!!!Mimi penda Kenya 👍👊
Good video. Corrections @4:33 the ferry does not dare go to the deep sea. It only helps to cross from one side the other side right opposite. Thanks for the video
Great video jaber! This is the most comprehensive vlog on the newly refurbished Mama Ngina Waterfront park on You Tube! I've been looking for videos(on the New Mama Ngina drive) all over the tube and thank God I found your channel and you've just quenched my curosity on it. Keep on the great job of bringing Mombasa and the coast to our screens, your persistence and consistency will finally payoff big one day
Salaam sis, I have watching and enjoying your beautiful videos quietly for sometime now, and you convinced me to visit so many gorgeous places in Kenya. Thank you, keep up the good work and you’ve got a new subscriber in me❤️
Budget of this was 400 million only not billion as usual in record time from local contractors , this the best infrastructure project in Kenya history. Considering the way we misuse and loot billions and go abroad Dubai, etc send our kids abroad for better life at expense, of hardworking Kenyans, Mombasa keep it good condition please.
Please keep it clean. There should be trash bins all over and signs telling people to keep it clean and not throw your trash anywhere otherwise there will be heavy fines. Keeping it clean is the only way to keep this beautiful place attractive. Also they should hire some people to do daily cleaning and inspections.
@@LIVKENYA That place you were standing looking over the sea, there should be a barrier. How can it be left like that and all it takes is someone to scare you and you fall on the rocks. Come on who is managing this place. Kenyans just fail on management and the little things that seem small are big if something happens. I thought there was a committee running this place. That open platform would be considered hazards in any other country. At least put a rail barrier
