I swear, so many people are ungrateful for this new mode, the devs never said it was harder than Fallen and everyone was mad about it. No offense to the comment section, but every game I play there's that one kid who's mad at it.
@@İzmir_city_state_republicit’s easier than fallen. Fallen hasn’t changed for 4 years, so people are very used to the wave layouts and enemies. This mode is completely new, so no one yet knows the fastest strategy or best counters to the enemies, since it plays so differently than fallen. Since it has 30 waves however, it theoretically can play much faster than fallen, my fastest time is 13 minutes in duo, a ridiculously hard feat in fallen with any amount of players
Btw, I know you probably saw the update logs already, but I’ll explain the modifiers and changes here. Shotgunners got cheaper but for every upgrade it gets 1 less damage (2-1,3-2, etc), crook boss got straight buffs with fire rate decrease, final upgrade cost decrease, and rebalanced g crook with costs increase, fire rate boosts, and damage nerfs. Bloated means a zombie has 2x their normal hp, speedy means 2x speed, and tanky means every damage source done to the enemy is 1 (like old Templar shield). Also, militant has fly detection now, and regular soldier got buffed too.
new gamemode: early game = harder than fallen mid game = harder than fallen mid game end game = easier than fallen but being honest they need or to buff fallen or making this mode more easy
if im correct: the slime modifier summons a slime (intermediate) upon death, which will transform into a random enemy if they are left alive for too long the tank modifier makes all damage inflicted be set to 1 (not sure about unit collision though)
It's refreshing to see a new gamemode in TDS for awhile, in the TDS discord, they currently plan on reworking the other existing gamemodes and a newer one! This update though is cool, and I like it a lot, it's not the best but it's something good to see from TDS in awhile
I like the idea of the scientist who created the zombies but honestly i prefer the grave digger over patient zero plus its just odd to me that they would explain this boss but then dont give the other bosses explanations which wouldve been cool and add some flare to this update
My own lore. Grave digger: he was an extremely tanky man. The towers all relied on him for everything. One day he got overwhelmed. And that was only the start of the adventure molten boss: (I'm putting this on the commanders perspective cuz I'm lazy) We do not know much about this man. An assumption is that he isn't a real human being. He must be created by something. Fallen king: The king of all 3. One who started the apocalypse. Armored by an insanely strong material he stomps the battlefield.He was a fallen like everybody else was. But he became a guardian. Into a king, This was passed down from zombie generation to generation. Went through many hardships to get in where he is now.
I’m kind of underwhelmed though. I thought it was gonna be a pretty difficult special gamemode, but it’s just a base mode. And it’s honestly easier than molten cause of the wave cash…
The mode is cool but it just spams enemies in the later waves and also the only thing separating it is the completely new enemies(they should add more) and animations... Also it's dumb how the starting coins is now 550 what a pointless nerf
Yeah I agree some enemies were already leaking but later on the game the enemies couldn't even get pass the first loop (I played it on grassy isles just in case if you were wondering)

Yea but do I look like I care about tds anymore ever since Tdx released the badge mechanic that gives you 80% more gold once you win a game mode on any maps

Honestly intermediate gives you so much coins for beginning waves and the final waves just give you an insane amount of coins. I literally managed to get ranger in wave 12
here's a problem since intermediate mode came out molten mode now gives you 400 coins and intermediate mode gives you 500 now EVEN THOUGH IT LITERALLY HAS 30 WAVES this is why i didn't like this update

Hot take. Intermediate is better then golden mode. Think about it. Most of golden modes enemy are recycled from fallen mode there is 5 new zombies but 3 of them actually goes with the theme of golden mode. Where if you look at Intermediate there is way more enemies and are alot more polished and it feels like its own gamemode that is seperated from most. The only point i could give to golden mode is nostalgia. And i joined tds when golden mode was removed.
lore prediction: mad scientist goes crazy and creates zombies, but after people start fighting them (the game) he makes more and more tougher zombies, and eventually he will create an immortal zombie. which marks the end of the game.
The animation is great, and fresh gameplay. You guys just having too much expectation (because of chaos mode). And ofcourse, the music is playing at first wave now, not only at boss wave. Kinda hope that below remake the other boss too
this is one of the coolest but also goofiest game modes (btw for anyone looking to solo it, the loadout I use is farm, militant, accel, commander & DJ)
Can’t wait for the other modes to get remade. I little theory what if they are gonna add 2 more game modes because the new mode has 30 like normal so then after fallen could be a new boss but I think there might be too much modes so it’s a maybe probably.
Guys golden mode won’t make you fell the nalstalga you felt in 2019 so just take in the feeling of a cool better looking game mode that is not junior fallen in a nutshell SO BE FUCKING GREATFULL they work so hard for your satisfaction so please stop begging for golden mode and be happy with what they gave you damm it also corso KEEP THE GOOD WORK UP MAN LOVE YOUR CONTENT
slime = on death a slime spawns in the enemies place (they frontflip into the enemies place) tank = all damage deals 1 dmg radiated = leaves a green pee puddle (it does nothing lol) bloated = 2x hp nimble = 2x speed health regen = im not explaining this.
I was really hoping this mode was going to surpass fallen in difficulty. And the fact that it's barely harder if not easier than molten means I'm not going to play it often. Fun for newer players but disappointing for me.
I played intermediate and won first try mostly because my teamates had good stuff and strategy while i was lagging but i wish the reward has a bit higher maybe like 600 maybe Edit: I didn't know that molten mode gives 400 now
This is all around a good update for both the players who just like to play the game and grind and for people who want to learn more about the story of TDS. Ah yes commander doesn't know everything. They need to bring back to the commander
