The new generation VDL-Citea electric in Eindhoven 

The first electric VDL Citea LE122 buses owned by Hermes in Eindhoven entered service.
When designing this bus, VDL started from scratch to design the best possible electric bus. The batteries are in the floor and the side walls are made of composite to save weight. The curves at the front and various spoilers and sharp corners at the rear ensure less air resistance. This makes a range of 500 to 600 kilometers possible
