One of the best parts of the Baltic, the Duke that Tommy ousted goes on tours of Africa frequently and if he's on tour when Africa collapses, you get a massive event chain about him escaping to try to just get back home.
@@ihaveadream3321 No he doesn't rule anything, he just wants to get home but with all of MittleAfrika in anarchy, it puts you in choose your own adventure game kind of thing to get him out. Easily one of my favorite event chains in Kr.
You know as an alternative for the lack and instability of multiplayer gameplay, he should do more singleplayer of various mods such as kaisereich, TNO, redflood, etc.
@@potato3996 i meant that Kaiserredux is a submod that has much more focus trees and decisions than Kaiserreich. I think tommy would enjoy that mod over Kaiserreich more.
I don't know why tommy didn't go all in on light/medium tanks, even two tanks divisions with the insane bonuses you get can win the whole war with Russia. Though he did get screwed over with ukraine, that completey ruins the balance of the war.
@@CatnamedMittens From what I have seen they almost always will, but it depends on how many troops you would actually get. With the soviets or chins it can be millions, with other just a dozen thousand.
@@mappingshaman5280 I mean. Instead of trying to go with super infantry just go with hard units so you don't lose your starting manpower and once Germany falls you become Germany and then you puppet cheese as much manpower as you want.
The funny thing is that the Baltic state only got a minor update, the actual big portion of the update was new focus trees for the other Baltic nations like Latvia, Estonia and Riga.

Honestly, TNO isn't too bad to look at, once you get used it. Really good story and pretty solid gameplay once you get into it, especially if you play a Russian nation or another country that fights other nations.
Yeah but Kaiserredux is also really laggy, none of the stuff they add is as good in terms of quality as what KR adds in every update, and most of the fanbase are Nazi larpers Plus Tommy's already tried kaiserredux and it didnt go well
@@bighillraft i disagree , yes it is laggy but so is kaiserreich , quality is the same as kaiserreich because it doesn't remove things (except Italy which i will agree it is worst) it adds new fun paths that might not be a hundred percent lore accurate but they're more fun,also how did it even came through your mind that all the fun base is nazi larpers (except is usage for nazi is everyone right from your political beliefs) and i didn't know tommykay stopped liking it it have been on video or stream that i missed. Edit someone could even say that you are the larper because you want to totally roleplay the way the story is written

I dont think KX is a bad mod (I play it sometimes), I just get annoyed when people/youtubers only play KX when a lot of the same things can be done on KR. Bruh I literally just finished my Baltic states campaign too! Just like Tommy, in my game, Germany died in 42, despite my 8 divisions saved the Reichspakt asses several times. But then I got no manpower left and Germany dead, the Russian just defeated me.
TBH hoi4 single player with mods is the only time I use cheesy plays or cheats to enjoy the game without reading what to do to become for example the new Germany that was shown in the video
Tommy should really play more Equestria at War he chose one of the most boring nations to start with and im SO butthurt about that (btw if you want a hard nation in EAW you should defo try the Changeling Lands they are hard but not impossible

Kind of a weird idea to gain manpower without exploits is to try and rush down the mobile warfare doctrine, and use the side that gives you I believe an extra 7 percent recruitable population. It’s kind of quirky but can sometimes be worth it if you go into the late game and need men.
Hoi 4 can't offer the same level of stories and depth mods can. Sure they have alt trees but at the end of the day its a ww2 sim. sometimes I wish I could play on a random gen map with various nations and focus trees. But that might be insanely hard to very diverse as well.
